My brother is getting married in a few weeks.
His fiancee is Italian and Foine.
I'm happy for my brother.
Lately my brother and his fiancee have had some problems with a female at her job.
This no life Heifer has been making threats,
and telling her to leave my brother,
and let a black woman marry him instead.
This bloated heifer even went around my job
trying to convince people to boycott my brother's
wedding.
She Thinks that if enough non-black women
would stop dating black men or refuse to marry a black man Then Black men would have no choice but to go back to being with black women.
The thing is, if my brother wanted to be with
a black woman he would be with one.
He chose to marry a white woman.
Black men in this country chose,
who they want to date or marry.
Doesn't matter what Any body else Thinks,
Black men in this country have freedom of choice,
Just Like Everybody Else.
I've heard all the drama and dumb ass SHYT about why Interacial relationships are bad.
I'm not concerned about Anybody's life
but my own and that of my family.
Other than a few close friends, I really don't care what any body has to SAY about my personal life.
I'm adult,I pay my own bills,I Date who I want.
If something were to happen where ALL non-black women in the country refused to date black men
or have anything to do with black men.
I Honestly think a lot of black men
would just start traveling out side the country.
I work with guys, a lot of them are African.
They work non stop for months.
Then they take the rest of the year off.
A lot of them go to places like Brazil,Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.
If there any guys who have traveled out side the U.S reading this, then you KNOW that most of these guys are going to places like Brazil and D.R for a Reason.
I'm Sure you KNOW what that reason is.
It's not the food (btw brazilian food is good)
or the sight seeing that Guys GO to Brazil For.

Also, didn't you say that your brother looked like Shrek? So if that is the case I hope him and his wife will be very happy. And create little Shrek-looking babies. Or maybe he is getting married to your Drag Queen ass. After you get the surgery you can legally say that you are a woman.

why bring it here and then pretend as if black women are the only ones who act a fool when they see the opposite sex of their race dating non-black?
again...go discuss this at a black man white woman site. do you see me starting whole topics on the craziness i got from black men once they found out my boyfriend was white? no because its just not nessesary unless i want to start trouble or want to "flaunt" it in peoples face like some people i know do.
if you notice when you go to regular white boards you hardly even see this topic discussed unless you go to a white supremist site like stormfront.... so why are blacks so obsessed with whites and wanting the world to know that they (or one of their family members) is in an interracial relationship and that everyone is supposedly jealous because of it???
some people need to get over themselves.if you seriously wanted to discuss this topic...you would simply put it on an interracial board and leave it at that rather than try to cause more drama than is already here. |

Misty, people are free to post what they want in this forum as long as it is not excessively graphic of violent. I understand the subject of interracial relationships may make you uncomfortable but people still have a right to discuss it. If you notice, there appears to be a seemingly limitless number of threads about celebrities and postings of their pictures which I find to be silly and ridiculous. If you have noticed, I rarely if ever post in those threads. They don't interest me in the least. So, do what I do, if the thread is boring, silly, offensive or makes you feel uncomfortable -DON'T READ IT AND MOVE ON! Even though the thread may not interest me, there are people who do enjoy such subjects. Just move on babe, just don't go there......

interracials dont make me uncomfortable...i'm IN one as ive stated before....i just dont understand why black boards are so obsessed with them....plus i simply didnt like the way it was introduced...he posted this to make it seem that all black women are jealous and angry over black men being with non-black women and to make it seem that it's ONLY black women with this problem...i'm sick of people like him trying to always make it seem like black women are the most insecure people on the face of the earth..again this is simply another example of him acting out his animosity towards black women.....he's not fooling anyone.
i know the game men like him try to run...because ive seen it time and time again....so thats why i commented. |

its just not a good sign that we seem obsessed with them....it basically goes to show how much we worship whites and how lowly they think of us...if they saw our boards have a fields day....because it would only confirm their stupid belief in their superiority. |

We live in a country (and much of a world) dominated by Whites. OF COURSE what they think and do will impact us. And if we are too concerned about what Whites think/do, pretending that such does not exist within us will NOT make that condition disappear.
Now with respect to your debate with the author of this thread (and those who express similar views), I recommend you not pay very much attention to him(?). Because, really, who the hell wants to listen to the same dayam song over and over and OVER again? |

I actually heard also that the unmixed Black population is very large in Brazil. About 30% and mixed do not make up a large percent as many thought. Most Black Brazilians are unmixed as well. That is what I heard. |

Sorry Lil_Ze, I don't think that is correct. Although there is more dating outside ones ethnic or racial group today than any other period, the majority of black men are with black women (and vice versa). No doubt there has been a big surge in inter-racial dating in the last twenty years, hard statistical facts still point to black with black and not black with non-black as the majority and dominate relationship. And this certainly is the case when marriage is discussed.

the reason that many dominicans call themselves mulattos is because of the SERIOUS division between haitians and dominicans.
haiti and the dominican republic are on the same island. there is a long history of tension between the people of haiti and the people of the dominican republic.
the spanish language (culture) has given the people in the dominican republic an idea or "identity" that they are "spanish" or connected to spain (white spanish speaking europeans).
many dominicans do, say, and think ANYTHING in an effort to seperate themselves from, or not be "considered" "black".
many dominicans will tell you "haitians are BLACK", "we are spanish".
and sure there are some "mixed" dominicans. but there are also "mixed" haitian, jamaicans, etc.
the culture of the dominican republic favors lighter skin, and looks down on darker characteristics.
so even the DARKEST dominicans somehow think they are mixed or "not black".
its kind of pathetic, actually.
many dominicans HATE when they come to the u.s., that they are just seen as "blacks", and not the "mixed descendents of "white spainiards", that they have convinced themselves that they are.
many dominicans go out of their way to speak (VERY LOUD) spanish in public, just to somhow try to prove, "see, i speak spanish. i CAN'T be black".
but the truth is that the spanish (white europeans who dwelled in the dominican rebpublic) mixed very little with the people of the dominican republic.
a place like brazil, the white europeans from portugal have dwelt and "mixed" with the "black people" and "indians" for hundreds of years.
in the dominican republic, the spainiards (white europeans) dwelt there but there just was not this type of "mixing" going on.
this is why most of the dominican baseball players, just look like "black people".
merlin santana (who was killed) from the "steve harvey show" was dominican.
if he did not have a "spanish" last name, you could relly not tell him apart from black americans.
most dominicans are "brown" or "darker skin".
the social history of the dominican republic, has set a "tone" where "black" is looked at as bad.
most dominicans just don't want to be considered "black".
even though they CLEARLY are.
and in the 1950's, over 50,000 BLACK AMERICANS moved to the SAMANA district of the dominican republic. their descendants still dwell there and have last names like jones, harris, smith, etc.
in brazil, the state of "BAHIA", has a HUGE "black" population. but in rio, there are many, many "black" (unmixed) people there.
sao paulo, in brazil has a mostly white population.
brazil in general has a VERY LARGE black population.
but there are "black" people in peru, bolivia, equador, columbia, etc.
there may not be huge numbers, but there are even black people in white countries like uraguay and argentina (but their numbers are VERY low).

Lil_Ze your right on the domincian stuff, you also got to remember most white spainards didn't mix with black dominicans because they so wanted to seperate themselves from the black.
However, it came to a point to 'divide and conquer' haitians and dominicans they had to start mixing. A lot of domincians will also tell you they are 'indian'.
I do think Brasil has a large black population but a lot of the Brasilians they sometimes call 'black' do not look like proper black to me (look up Ronaldhino - a footballer).
Anyways that is a tangent, I do apologise. As for this interracial marriage - who cares? I live in the UK, this shit is old now. 50% of caribbean men here go out someone non-caribbean/non-black. However, understand that history in America is a lot different. Like it is weird to me that biracial people in the USA are called black people because UK is so used to seeing them now they know what 'one' looks like.
No one pays those in the UK in interracial relationships any mind. Only get pissed when people start giving reasons why they ahve stepped out their races - there is no need.
I am in an interracial relationship myself, no one really cares - neither of our families have said much. |
