Lili,

You say that you hurt so bad because
we're saying that Kathleen Cleaver
isn't black.

YET...you seem to be unaware that
you're hurting our feelings as well
(Dahomeyahosi, Kola, Touboubie) when
you insult our race by saying that
anyone can be black.

The remarks you're reading come from
OUR ANGER...OUR HURT

...at the blatant
disrespect for Black Human Beings
and their Personhood.

YOU were taught all
your life. That if one drop of black
blood is present--the person is black.

We understand that...but we also
understand that a WHITE SLAVE MASTER
created that racist rule and not you.

WHAT YOUR MASTER IS SAYING IS:

Africans are so inferior that anything
touched by them--is defiled by them.

We have to take up for OUR PEOPLE
(which is all "Black" People).

We refuse to be ruled by your slave
master.

We refuse to accept that kind of racist
attack against the Black People and against
Africa and against our ancestors.

We have MIXED and nearly WHITE people in
our families in Africa and we love them
dearly, because that's our kin---but they
are not black. They are Mixed.

SO we are just as HURT and UPSET as you
are--because we have great pride in our
Blackness and especially African People
are taught to honor the ways of their
ancestors.

They would be very upset if we didn't
speak against this WHITE SLAVE RULE
of if we allowed Kathleen Cleaver to be
given the identity of our African mother.

Kola is really on a campaign to recruit people to her cause. She can't stand having people challenge her self-serving views. And she really has a blind side. It's OK to insult and put down black Americans but no one dare offend her sensibilties by saying her standards aren't our standards because her history is not her history. She is so clueless.

Someone sent me the
following EMAIL:

Kola you can't discuss such
an issue with former slaves and
you can't expect them to intellectualize
what you are saying.

They can only react emotionally
just as your hurt as an African is
coming from an emotional place. They
can't understand how Africans feel
insulted and you can't understand that
this has been their way of life for
hundreds of years. They are not from
Africa they are from slavery.

Thanks for that insight
and I posted it as my ending
comment, because I think he's
right.

Kola's shared email:
"Kola you can't discuss such an issue with former slaves and you can't expect them to intellectualize what you are saying."

Moonsigns:
"Intellectualize"?! LMAO --as if Africa is a blameless continent just chock-full of stellar individuals that don't commit atrocities against "their own (dark-skin/authentic) kind" on a daily basis.
