This is a website that allows women scorned to post all kinds of ugly and malicious things about their former boyfriends. The sista who owns the site was on Dr. Phil with a brotha who was put on blast on dontdatehimgurl.com by a woman he dated. He is mad as hell and is suing the site owner but the sista didn't back down. Dr. Phil, surprisingly, took the black man's side. BTW, I check the site ocassionally...so far haven't seen anyone I know. |

Wow!! I couldn't believe this site. Talk about sour grapes and lacking the ability to "get over it". I'm sorry but this is nothing short of female vengeance and character assassination via the go gurl freind cyber network. There has to be be some legal ramifications about posting someones picture and bad mouthing them. Believe me, I can understand the angst and feelings of betrayal of a relationship gone bad, but to post a mans picture with a vitriolic accusations is a little over the top don't you think? And does this pubescent behavior have any relationship to the "scorned woman" syndrome?

What happens if some factually WRONG or unproveable information is posted on the site that ruins someone's reputation?
Or worse, what if someone becomes so enraged by what's been posted about him that he attacks the person who's posted it?
This seems like an incredibly dumb and irresponsible to do and I suspect the creator and sponsors of this site will be made to pay dearly for what they're doing. |

It's not only dumb and irresponsible, it's reckless and vindictive. GET OVER IT!!! As you suggested bro ABM, what if the guy is innocent and himself a victim of an embittered scorned woman who he wanted nothing to do with? I've actually put two men up on there: an ex boyfriend and a then a guy who is well known in the hip hop biz who I had a longish fling with (and caught him fucking another man - looong ass story) I think the site is great. I noticed that three or four other women reported problems with my ex after I posted him on dontdatehimgirl. If only I'd read what they had to say BEFORE I dated him, I'd have known to steer clear. A wonderful site!! |

I don't agree with a lot of the cheating/not-cheating things with boyfriends. If they're still a BOYFRIEND that's a clue that he's not a soulmate or anything.
I never cared what my BOYFRIENDS did.....then again, they got no children, bareback adventures, or sandwitches from me, either.
Women need to know that boyfriends are free, but so are they. There's no reason if he's just a boyfriend that you're sitting at home waiting for him to call when he's out with another girlfriend.

If a man feels he is being libeled he has to prove what was stated was a lie. Most of the guys on the site are accused of cheating. How do you prove you are not a liar or a cheat without the whole world knowing your business?
I tend to think alot of what is posted on DDHG is probably true. Cheaters are a dime a dozen, but the women should have seen the red flags.

Good question. There are MANY things you can say about a person that simply cannot be proven or dispoven. Or the measures a person would have to take for someone to assert their innocence can prove as destructive as that which they're accused of doing/being. I expect a sympathetic judge and clever attorney will eventually highlight the inherent unfairness you describe.
They will eventually screw some facts up somewhere or someone's gonna really get hurt. And when either or those happen, they're as good as fuhked. |

It's obvious they can't. That's the point of the site. It allows scorned and bitter women to strike back at the men who allegedly done them wrong. The high five each other and eagerly swap "he done me wrong" stories. We have no way of knowing if those stories are true or not. I had a similar situation that happened to me about ten years ago. A woman wrote a bunch of bullshit and sent it to all my female friends with the hope of turning them against me. If that wasn't enough, somehow (never figured out how), she called my job and tried to get me into trouble -I was living in Japan at the time! WTF..??!! She was very bitter and wanted blood. When I returned to the sates she apologized but think of the damage she could have done if my friends believed her. They all knew she was lying so her efforts were in vain.
I'm sure there a few men listed on this site are victims of the same vindictive childish behavior. As I stated before, these women need to grow up and get over their failed relationships. But they can't. And I'm willing to bet 75% of these whiny women would take back those same guys if it were possible.

BB123, I understand that but it does not make it right. I have had a number of failed relationships with women whom I really, really liked. But when it was over, it was over and not once did I seek nor plot some kind of vengeance. I was very hurt but I licked my wounds and moved on. It takes a while but you eventually get over it. You have to show dignity and adult restraint in these matters otherwise you lower yourself to a level that is even beneath the person you are attempting to hurt. You do understand this don't you?

People commits acts of revenge large and small every day...be it starting wars to avenge some slight, or calling in sick to punish one's boss. It is not a question of being civilized, I don't believe. Unlike others, humans are a venegeful species. What the women are doing is probably counterproductive, but at least they are able to vent and not pick up a gun and gain revenge that way.
I agree with Mzuri that in the day when sex and "falling in love" can be deadly, it is a person's duty to report if they are aware of someone who is having sex and lying about their HIV/AIDS status. An internet message board is proably not the best forum.
Again, if these men feel wronged, they need to offer rebuttals. All is fair in love and war. |

I thinks it's more the job of trained, responsible doctors and public health officials to manage problems involving the spread of communicable diseases than it is that of vengeful chicks who probably could have easily prevented their becoming infected by AVOIDING boning some nikka (they hardly know a dayam thing about) WITHOUT using condoms.

Interesting you said that. I've talked to a few female friends of mine when they were doing their usual male bashing and whining about the poor behavior of men. When I asked them, "Well, what about the guys you fucked over? What about the men who sincerely like you but you kicked their asses to the curb and never looked back...never thought about how they felt when you were rude and arrogant? Especially when the only thing they did wrong was like you." They all had this cheap cheesy grin on their faces and just shrugged their shoulders. Let's all get some T-shirts and have the slogan printed on it: IT'S OK FOR ME BUT NOT FOR THEE!

Exactly. I don't approve of anyone, regardless of gender, being abusive, exploitive or mean spirited to anyone. But it seems many of these self absorbed women have no problems when they are abusive and dogging men. It's ok then. But as soon as a guy does not respond to them as they believe all men should, they run to other females for a therapy group session (or a web site) to moan and swap stories about the evils of men. Ya know, this is a two way street.....

THIS, my brotha, is how you get you some payback:
When I was in college, this chick I was kicking it with started dating some rich doctor (Nikka had a spoiled out Corvette Stingray to frickin DIE FOR.) Thing about it, mofo had loot, he was tall, good looking and, by most accounts, was a decent dude. So on some level, I wasn't really too mad about what she was doing. Hell. If I were a chick, I'd probably want to bone him too.
But what really pissed me the fuhk off about her was when I caught hold to what was up and asked her about him, this beeyatch REFUSED to tell me the truth about what was up. Told me I was imagining shyt. That I shouldn't take other mofos word over hers (You mean like the chick who lived next door to her who could hear you fuhking dude 2 nites before.).
See. This was her game. She wanted to keep me in the legit boyfriend, possible future husband slot while she let the dude with the bankroll run up in her. And she'd be dayam if I'm not stupid enuff to let her get away with it.
WTF?
We eventually had a big blow up and neighbors called the cops. Lucky the cops were Black or I would have caught old style poo-poo beatdown. I finally wise up, say fuhk it and left her alone.
'Bout a year or so later, I finish school. Got the good gig, lots of travel, expense account, (young Black man was stylin') and guess who, out of the Blue, appears back into my life.
So I'm cool about it. She's calling. Stopping by. We kicking it.
Only THIS time she ain't the woman I think I might love. She's the chick I'm due some payback from. And payback is what I’m gon’ do.
New wardrobe for me. She got it.
We go out. She paying.
I wanna bone. She’s spreading ‘em. And, playah, I’m talking EVERY orifice.
But, eventually I start to feel bored. And at least a tad guilty. So I break it off. (Well. AFTER one final, positively EPIC bone job, of course.)
Then I’m out. Or, specifically, It ain’t gone work out, babe.
She calls and visits. I’m busy.
Pleads. Nah nah.
Cries to moms (Dayam it was a mistake to introduce her to ma.). Mom: It’s his life, baby. Let him be.
Finally, inexorably, she backs off.
And for the Coup de Grâce:
Years and years later my wife (whom I met and married long AFTER I’d dumped her) and I ran into my ex while we were out and about. And we had one of our daughters, then still a baby, with us.

From what I've observed and experienced, woman are way, much, bigger, greater dawgs than men could ever hope to be. Women are far better at plotting, scheming, conniving, lying, tricking - all of it. Men are stupider cuz they think they're smart. Men are so dumb that a woman could do some bold foul •••• to them right in their face and they'll convince themselves that the •••• didn't really happen because a woman would never really do that •••• to them - a woman wouldn't dare. Men are DUMB!!!
They'd be totally useless if they didn't have ••••• LOLOLOL!!!

LOT'S of brothas have similar stories. ESPECIALLY those of us who managed to make a little something of ourselves after the fact. The successes of A LOT of accomplished people are partly the product them attempting to payback lovers who betrayed them (Will Smith spoke quite eloquently of such during the recent Moving Image Salute to him.)
The thing that amazed me about her is how it never appeared to occur to her that I was going to mete out some payback on dat a$$. Funny how when somebody really wants something or someone they can be come SO self-deluded. |
