I finally saw Dreamgirls last night and let me tell you that movie was excellent!! I'm sorry but Jennifer Hudson is a much better singer, and actress than Beyonce will ever be.
She might be the next Nel Carter. How do you guys feel? |

Jennifer Hudson is up for a Screen Actor's Guild Award and a Golden Globe for her "supporting role" performance. Without HER soulful, heartfelt soliloquy, Dreamgirls is flat, boring and pretentious.
Jennifer has the rare ability to reach her audience on an emotive level. With Oscar predictions abound... I do believe that MS. HUDSON is destined to be one of the "greats." However, she must know what she wants from the business or it could consume her. Surely, the vultures will try to commodify her BLACK magic. |
