Here's from Morocco's top national newspaper, calling Kola Boof an "It".
Scoop:Quand Ben Laden made excursions with Marrakech

Boof Cola, writer Sudanese woman, has published on February 1, 2006 an autobiographical account several hundreds of pages. That which says to have been the mistress of Oussama Ben Laden devotes 90 pages of this account (Diary of has lost girl, Journal of a lost girl) to stays in Morocco with Ben Laden and Zawahiri, during which they organized shooting parties and fishing. They would have in particular remained in Marrakech and Dakhla .
The account abounds in intimate details of the life of the head in Al Qaïda and that who says to have undergone the worst treatments because it was a "Arab black".

How is that a surprise from a someone who obviously doesn't have a good grasp of the English language?
My Japanese friends often put their verbs at the end of their sentences, but it speaks more of their English skills than it does of their topic of conversation. |

And it was apparently (to ANY NATIVE English Speaker) translated by someone who doesn't have a good grasp of English grammar. Whoever translated that passage IS NOT a native English speaker. You'll find the same thing when you read things translated from other languages by someone who learned English late in life or who learned it early but didn't use it often. |

Not only did they misspell Kola's name, they inverted it too! [*snicker*]
I wouldn't take this too personally.
