Hi all,
I miss you so much.
First up-----I was wrong about Amazon.Com
Please realize that it never occurred to me that my books could be SOLD OUT....before release date.
Which is what actually happened.
Amazon shipped the first 250 that were sent (the ones I had accused them of sitting on, not shipping)....and did it by first order, first served basis. They had NO STOCK on opening day.
The N.Y. Public Library System, for instance--had ordered 70 copies....and the "Shrine of the Black Madonna" Bookstore in DETROIT had ordered 100 copies.
At this moment, 500 copies have been sent to Amazon and should arrive today and Tuesday---and "Diary" has gone into a SECOND PRINTING in less than a week of release (the first printing was only 5,000 copies--which is TINY by industry standards).
It's never happened to one of my books before...so all this time that I was bitching...it just never occurred to me that the books were SOLD OUT. I accused everyone of "not shipping" my books to the fans!
By February 28th, this should all be straightened out.
There are AUTOGRAPHED copies that were sent to Troy Johnson at this site that will soon be available.
And for people in Los Angeles---you can get AUTOGRAPHED copies at Dr. Rosie Milligan's store, "EXPRESS YOURSELF BOOKS" on Manchester Blvd. (Crystal please tell your friends).
At this moment she has 30 copies.

Thursday, Feb. 16th--Washington, D.C.--"The Joe Madison Show" WOL radio. I'm on for the last hour 9 am to 10.
I have a lot pending.
*I've done interviews with two major national magazines, but I can't talk about it until I get word that they are actually going to print the articles.
Magazines often interview/photograph you (for instance PEOPLE did a big spread on me in 2002 when The New York Times and New York Post did, but never rant it)...and then the Editor prints those stories that the Public is most interested in. Unfortunately, I'm not well liked by "White Mainstream" media or the public....and accordingly, they don't want to give a platform to my philosophy and ideals.
But if a story runs, I will BURST JOYFULLY to tell you about it.
The book itself is TRULY POWERFUL.
The response I am getting--mostly from White readers in New York City---is phenomenal.
The contents of the book are not really about my affair with Osama Bin Laden...but overwhelming is about the reality of black people and being black and female in this world.
And it's a love story...showing a Black man (Thomas)rescuiing and healing a black woman.

Note:

Those copies were ordered directly from BAKER AND TAYLOR, the parent company, which made it impossible to get new books to AMAZON right away.

Kola or anyone, when I try to listen to the Kola Boof interview on libradio.com I am getting the other of the programs that are scheduled for 9am. Does her program come on later? I am on the EST. I have already registered onto the site.

Those guys really love you.
If what they said about Kanye West and Pamela Anderson is really true, I (in all honesty)
will really start suspecting that celebs like Kanye are the target of some sort of
mind altering program which makes them fall for white women.
