Another song that I find far more inspiring by the musical phenomenon that is Lauryn Hill is "The Passion" This is a cut on the sound track of the movie 'The Passion of the Christ' This song came out over a year ago. The first twenty of times that I listened to it I cried. I am still listening it.
Has anyone heard the Unplugged perfomance that she did on MTV. Although the it met lots of criticism, I loved it. I thought it was original and showed her bravery and honesty as an artist.
I think that people didn't get the lyrics though. I think she was expressing her spirituality and people just didn't get it. |
