Medusa, whether people believe it or not, I really don't have a lot of control YET over how I am portrayed in the media.
I knew about this press release, but it's been RE-WRITTEN by Black News.Com and I didn't even know photos would be in it. That's not my doing.
Now you understand why...when I first came out....I tried to take very "OFF" type photos, sort of ARTSY and downplay the hoochie look. I am at least 40 by now (I think) and I imagine that the strength of my books will eventually force people to take me seriously.
And just imagine how many people in the media BLACK AND WHITE both---completely hate me. There is going to be incredibly unkind things written about me very soon, I promise you. Attacks.
The important thing is--those who LIE on me, are never asked to prove their accusations against me.
And I'm still here.

I've been checking with Amazon.com(my only acccess to purchasing the books,hence the credit card), and it keeps saying that "diary" has still not been released.
How did YOU get a copy so soon? o_O!

Roxie, Amazon has the books. I don't know why they're holding them up. The sales ranking on the book has been really high, so maybe the demand is greater than the books, I don't know.
Call them: 1-877-251-0696. They're going to lie and say the books are not in stock yet or something, but just tell them that you're going to stop doing business with them and you want your book.
