I was flipping through the television channels last night and I flipped through Wrestling. Now I don't watch Wrestling because it is stupid and immature. But when I caught some of it I could not believe my eyes. You know the black wrestler I don't know his name but he was on last night. Well there was a sket with in the green room getting chastised by this 300Ibs, black woman in a Momo dress, using ebonics. I was so SHOCKED! I thought that long gone were the days when black women were being portrayed as such. I felt embarrassed not just for her but for the millions of other black women who have endure these types of stereotypes on a daily basis. How do you guys feel. Did anyone else see that? |

This board is a right regular chucklethon. Seriously though, it vascilates between bizarre and thought-provoking topics. The above topic being an example of the bizarre. I find the board to be both facinating and immensely entertaining. Ain't the internet great? You can post things which,for the most part you wouldn't utter in public or to someone's person. With that being said I guess it's a good place to let off steam for some people. Espeacily those who post topics simiiliar to this one. |
