Kola,
No one has opened their eyes to the true colors of arabs more than I have, and I realize that their system of rascism must be stopped, but do I have to support ISRAEL to do it?
No offense but I don't have much love for the zionists either. Why support people who care as little about as as the arabs? If the Jews DID suceed in overcoming the arabs on part of our support how can we be sure that they will not turn around and treat us the same way that the arabs have treated nilotics?
The jewish community in the US has already succeeded in brainwashing AA's with the dilusion that the Holocaust and Slavery are identical types of inhumanity. Many jews still object when they are challenged with the notion that our tragic pasts cannot be compared and they still cannot relate.
I don't refer to all jews but the ones of european descent, i.e. the ones that make up the majority of isreal and the jewish
population in the US. I have jewish friends, but they are just the few I've found to admit the faults in their own group. Others (especially journalists)however are sill using their jewish identity to run around the issue that in the end they are still white, and that they are just as prejudiced to us as any white gentile. It's also obvious by our portrayals in hollywood that they care no more about us than other whites.
And last, I don't know how the falashas are treated there but I know like black people in all the other diasporas, they have to deal with, not one, but two burdens. So why should we support one potential oppressor in order to defeat another? |

Kola has to support Israel, because that's the only nation on earth that provides weapons, food, clothing and medicine to the South Sudanese.
Without their help, the South Rebel Army would have fallen and the Southerners would have died.
As well, the Black African and the Israeli have a common enemy---the Arab.
Black Americans don't need any nation as an ally. You don't have a country separate from America and are not in a civil war with your own country. So it's ridiculous for you to even contemplate our situation.
We have very few choices--but to kill or be killed.
It's as simple as that.

I see your point. I just find myself in a more conflicting position with this situation.
Well, I'll still keep sending money orders to Doctors w/o Borders. So,is this arrogant american still allowed to help?  |

Roxie, I think of you as a valentine.
I don't mean to sound harsh.
I'm just pointing out the way Americans confuse "desperation" with actual friendship. For instance, I could give a shit about Zionism--I just need guns and ammo, and South Sudanese are so vastly different, culturally, from the Jews--there's no way we could really be friends.
We are at the mercy of two devils who are both our bastard children--but the Jews treat us good, because they need us (who are in Sudan) as a CHESS piece. We use them the same way.
Yes, please help through Doctors Without Borders. They do a lot of good for women and children in Sudan, and the money actually goes to them--which is why I chose them over UNICEF.
What Black Americans never seem to understand is that before you can battle the White Man....you have to first slay the Black man who Hates Black people. I have lived in Tel Aviv and lived in Palestine.
The Israelis are no different than White Americans. Some are deevoutly racist, many are very friendly. If I had to...I could find a husband in Israel.
But I could not in Palestine. Because they fear returning to their original blackness.
