Hi all. I got this message from our board member MAHOGANY ANIS!!!!!
She hasn't been here in months, but that's because her mom passed and her new book is coming out!!

Happy holidays! I wanted to let you know that "Literary Mama: Reading for the Maternally Inclined" is out! As you may know, this is a "best of" collection from literarymama.com, the site for which I write my "The Girl is Mine" column about being an adoptive parent. The inaugural essay from my column was selected for this anthology.

Cynique--LOL! I always wanted to be part of a superhero team! Adding my congrats to Mahogany on the release of this anthology. I know 2005 was a rough year in many ways for her and I hope this release will signal only good things to come for 2006.
PS: I'm ready to squeeze into my old cape and leotard again ifever you should return, Super MA! |
