Kola, I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS FOR YOU: 1. WHERE WERE YOU BORN? 2. DO YOU HAVE A FOREIGN ACCENT? IF SO, HOW SO IF YOU'VE SPENT MAJORITY OF YOUR LIFE IN THE USA? 3. WHAT PROOF DO YOU HAVE THAT YOU EVER EVEN SEEN OSAMA BIN LADEN? 4. WHY ARE YOU SEEMINGLY OBSESSED WITH AFRICAN AMERICANS, WHEN THERE ARE OTHER BLACKS AROUND THE GLOBE WHO ARE IN WORST SITUATIONS THAN AA'S? (ACTUALLY, I THINK I KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS ONE) 5. LASTLY, HOW DO JUSTIFY YOUERSELF CLAMING TO BE BLACK, WHEN YOU ALSO CLAIM TO BE PART ARAB? HOW COULD YOU EVEN BE A PART OF THE BLACK GROUP THAT YOU PREACH ABOUT? |

I've written a 441 page book that answers all your questions: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0971201986/qid=1134690165/sr=8-3/ref=pd_bbs_3/1 03-9794442-7610210?n=507846&s=books&v=glance And if you speak to people everyday in Arabic from other countries and also other languages, I had to as part of the SPLA.....it's impossible to lose your accent. And some of us don't wish to sound American. I know. It's a shocker.

Kola Boof has been doing a hell of a lot for people in Africa, especially her own country, the Sudan. Whoever started this thread should do their research. Go Miss Kola.

Kola says: And if you speak to people everyday in Arabic from other countries and also other languages, I had to as part of the SPLA.....it's impossible to lose your accent. I say: Really? Well you should be a rich women in training arab, mexican, african, etc. how to lose their accents because so many would really like that kind of versatility. Kola, Kola, Kola. You are truely funny. By the way, can anything you say be BACKED UP with tangible evidence?

Kola Says: And some of us don't wish to sound American. I say: Why are you still in the Great and Mighty AMERICA??? People kill me when they attempt to try to take little pot shots at a country that they are steady living in by their own FREE WILL!!! Unless you're in jail...YOU ARE FREE TO LEAVE AND BE AMONG THE PEOPLE WITH THE SAME ACCENT THAT YOU "JUST CAN'T LOSE". LMAO!!!!!!! |

My autobiography contains 441 pages of tangible evidence. It's my life story, complete with dates, times---I name names, etc. I don't understand what it is you're asking, but EVERYTHING is covered in detail. And there's quite a lot of PROOF. It's COMPREHENSIVE and COMPLETE. Your $25 is just as good as anybody elses. Although it's only $16 at Amazon.Com And I praise America in my autobiography. And one thing's for sure. A weak coward like yourself won't be making me leave this country anytime soon. And some people don't think I have an accent...some do. There's a video about my life ONLINE that you can watch, to make up your own mind.

FBL, Who cares if Kola has an accent or not? In the USA, it doesn't really matter anyway... we all speak "accents" and even American born folks have "accents".. Texan, New Yorker, California, etc.. and some of these folks that were born in this country acquire an accent that don't belong in America.... but who gives a fuck ?! Leave this woman alone, she speaks wonderful with not just English, she also speaks Arabic, what other languages do you know ? |

Uh, Firstborn, I guess you believe "american" is a language too, right? :P Anyway,I was BORN here and have never developed a distinct regional dialect. But then that's what happens when one parent's from North carolina, the other is from D.C., and all of your neighbors are immigrants. |

I lived in the USA for over 25 years and never lost my accent. I also never lost my culture or humanism. Most people in Kenya ask me why I don't sound like an American even though individual who visit the USA for six month sound like Americans. I always tell them that I am a true African with a ten thousand year old African soul of our ancestor. Hee hee hee |

Anunaki, It also depends on how old you were when you resided in the U.S.. I was 14 years old, but hardly knew any English.. I did not understand AAs nor whites when I resided in the US, but I still knew a little bit of the language, just a little bit, enough to not my head anyway.. Little by little, I learned, but I also had a white English teacher.. so some of my accent is "white" and the other is African. Some friends of mines would tell me I sound white, but it don't bother me, I just grew up around white teachers who teach white accents.. And I did not have any AAs friends nor white friends (was pretty much a smile and go kid) so I didn't learn to talk the way they did.. Now am around a lot of hispanics and they can hardly notice the way I talk because they too have an accent they don't think they have.. I just sound plain American to them. So how old were you when you came to the US, and what race of folks did you hang around with ? 25 years is a long time in America... have you left for a vacation at least ?

Roxie: You said: Uh, Firstborn, I guess you believe "american" is a language too, right? :P I say: What gives you that impression???...because I questioned KOLA about her acent??? The air is fresh out here (outside of Kola's ass) You should inhale and exhale slowly....all of this fresh oxygen will awake brain cells that have not been used in a while. Watch who you step to next time, "no-accent girl/boy"...LMAO!!! |

I'm not following this. Kola, African Queen and Anunaki all retained their African accents. What is your problem FirstBornLast? I like Kola's accent. She has a sexy voice and demeanor in general IMHO. You despise Kola. So what. You want to be applauded for that?

I've never been outside of the South, and I'm constantly told that I have an accent. I've studied Japanese and Spanish, and most of my friends have been African and Asian, so I must have picked it up from them. |

I know you're simply amazing, and even though I haven't read any of your books yet (my sis says I must).. I've learned a lot about who you are and how strong of a woman you are in this world... I have never met a person so strong, who never hides behind the mask regardless of what's coming at her! I respect you Kola ! |

---Watch who you step to next time, "no-accent girl/boy"...--- Firstborn, I also guess you believe there's a "black" accent and a "white" accent too huh? :P I've been pressures and taunts to submit to the local dialect of other AA's I've managed to keep my "non-accent"....... It's one of a kind, It adds mystery to my persona, everyone understands me, and I'm DAMN PROUD OF IT! Also, I am a female. |

Hi African Queen, You haven't telephoned or emailed. Thanks so much for the post about your sister. That made my week! Tell her that if she reads my autobiography, she will find that "Flesh" is only a micro-chip of what I can actually do with words. You both, and everyone from Sudan, should read that book.
