Hello all.
Yes, my poem WAS read at Garang's funeral---and it's now a highlight of life.
I loved him, immensely, and I'm not expecting the peace treaty to last much longer without him.
I've been working hard on my new novel---which has been slowed down by sickness. I really have not been well, and I think a lot of it is "depression" at the realization that I am getting older and am not able to save, change, DO as much as I would like to.
I feel frustrated and weary---I'm sure most of you have felt at some point like you wanted to just give up on black people.
I am so disinterested in the whole light skin-dark skin thing, and although I noticed several people talking about it on the board---I'm just tired of talking about it.
I wish that ABM would either send me the essay for my book "Diary" or give an explanation as to why he isn't/hasn't.

Hope everyone is doing OK. I really am not well, physically, but still attempting to find out what's wrong.
My new novel is "INCREDIBLE". Awesome as though sent by God.
