Hi, it's Kola.
Something I never thought I would be reporting to you.....
...is that I have a new boyfriend.
It's official, as I agreed today to be in a committed relationship with him.
I can't say too much yet about him, because I don't know what to say yet. I've been extremely depressed, as every since "Diary" came out--I feel as though my work is done and I have nothing left to say. I just feel like I want to be invisible now. Hopefully, these feelings will pass.
As I told Renata on the other board---I've been assigned to "Days of Our Lives" just as she was hoping and just as ABM predicted. So perhaps this will be the stay-at-home quiet work that I need. Writing white characters and getting a "breather" from the frustration I feel in fighting for black issues and the black world. I am very tired and I am looking and feeling too old for my age. I just don't feel inspired anymore, I don't feel that there is anywhere on earth where I belong or even want to set eyes on anymore--and there are many days when I just don't believe in or care about our people anymore.
It's very hard to explain, but I'm tired.
I will be giving a lecture at Cal Luthern University on April 26th at 6 pm in Thousand Oaks as planned.....and I have two big radio shows this weekend--both can be listened to online.

I have a LOT of work to do, and I'm praying to get the strength and inpsiration to get back on the horse. I am hoping that the stint on "Days of Our Lives" will be just the ESCAPE I needed.

I wish Black women had more power than us black males. I'll admit, a whole lot of them are sorry. But the kicker is, you guys would have to pump out atleast 5 kids so as to build a strong African base. If we had a population of 100 million people strong who looked like Kola Boof here in North America, we'd be able to do amazing things.
200+ whites to 30+ million mestizos to 100+ million uniform Africans with a constant high birth rate -not only would we have major clout in North America (a rich nation-great stepping stone), but around the world to every black nation.
Maybe I'm looney, maybe ...oh well. |
