Dana thought you would like to watch The Meatrix, a four minute animated movie that spoofs the Matrix films and stars a cow, a pig and a chicken. The Meatrix has won many awards, has been seen by millions of people, and has been critically acclaimed by both press and viewers.

THANKS, Kola--Great video.

I, too, am a carnivore. I tried to be a vegetarian at one point, but I just jonesed too much for meat!

I like this approach better. My family has already cut back dramatically on meat and meat products. (Hasn't been easy as I'm married to a guy who grew up on meat at every meal!) Plus, we try to shop and eat out at places that take this kind of thing seriously.

ANyway, the web site is a great resource. I've already identified several additional places I will try (on the page where you put your zip code in).

Everybody I know who is a strict vegetarian is weird. If meat was poison you would die if you ate it.

I think one should watch how much one eats--I always eat too much of it--you are supposed to have a serving no bigger than a deck of cards--and some meatless meals or days are good. But vegetarianism is unnatural.

Then again we should encourage it among a few people. If food ever runs short they might make good eatin'!

Vegetarians are what they are, but those psycho animal rights activists who believe that eating animals is morally wrong and evil are just retarded. It's funny how they can talk about morality when the very act of eating meat is what sped up the brain growth in early hominoids around 3 million years ago. Meat was essential in the development of a brain that can add let own conceptualize morality. They just seem to forget human biology, we are omnivores however unhealthy that may be today, so deal with it.
