Hi all,
This Friday Mar. 3rd, I'm launching
PROOF
a new online journal for authentic black people--or those who wish to become authentic.
The debut edition will explain EXACTLY...what is "authentically" black.
The legendary Nigerian Scholar Chinweizu just gave a lecture in LAGOS about the future of the black people--it caused quite a stir--is allowing me to reprint the entire lecture for my debut edition.
For those who don't realize it, Chinweizu is like the Cornel West of Western African. A
very controversial figure whose only peers are his good friend Chinua Achebe...and his faux enemy, Nobel Prize winner Wole Soyinka.
Chinweizu wrote the classic book "The West and the Rest of Us", which was edited by Toni Morrison.
Although I consider Chinweizu to be decadently sexist and outrageously homophobic....I do agree with the Lagos newspaper that claimed: "if we could set Chinweizu as King and Kola Boof as Queen, therein would lie the balance of a perfect mother and father for the African people."
There will be regular articles by myself, poetry, depictions via pictures of black love, love for black children, public commentary....
...and the purpose of "PROOF" is to provide clarity and messages of self-esteem and set a "new revolution" for authentic blacks...or those who wish to become authentic.
Eventually...this will become a MAGAZINE, very similar to JET...but much more substantial in content and featuring beautiful blackentric with natural African hair on the covers.

Being authentic has nothing to do with "behavior", "politics"
----it's about the BLOOD of African people.
Clarence Thomas is an authentic black man.

That's what your mouths says.
But Clarence Thomas, whether he's a traitor or not--is African blooded. Black BLOOD.
Authenticity has nothing to do with "behavior", what clothes one wears, politics, etc.
BLOOD lends authenticity.
And ROXIE--I already announced that I was getting liposuction on my mid-section, because I want my waistline back.
Why is that so shocking?
And who in the hell told "Anonymous" that African women don't wear wigs? The Egyptians created wigs 20,000 years ago----BLACK WOMEN have been wearing wigs, makeup, perfume and sewing animal fur into their heads every since.
I have no objection to Black women
My objection is when their goal is to look like another race, to bleach and lighten their skin--to destroy themselves and send a message to their children that there's something wrong with being BLACK.
My sons will never notice my waist shrinking--I will be back home the same day the proceedure is performed. They know their mother is VAIN and they know that I come from a Nilotic culture--where people are Tall and Skinny, not a West African one--where people are muscular and thick and round.
I don't like the fat on my stomach and waist. Having it removed...will not remove the African blood from my veins.
BLOOD makes black people authentic--not "behavior", not "actions", not "political sympathies".
BLOOD.
And my intention is that we start breeding MORE BLACK BLOOD into those who claim they're black.

Vin Diesel is heavily mixed and probably has one full white parent. But he wouldn't be considered an authentic white man. I don't know why OUR standards have to be so low. |

----don't forget that I'm "technically" bi-racial.
The fact is....a new standard needs to be set for BLACK PEOPLE...one that respects their blood and their blackness and doesn't allow White people to claim to be them.
As much as I despise Clarence Thomas----he is still MORE authentically Black than I am.
Because of African BLOOD.

Not enough to make him black.
He is MORE white.
And if this society was not so racist--he would be allowed to claim his true racial identity...which is WHITE.

That's what I'm saying....
He's actually MORE of an authentic white man than a black man at all. But notice that their standards are so HIGH, he's "too black" for them.
Our standards are so low, that this man with more white blood than black blood....is considered by us to be AS BLACK as Clarence Thomas.
So, basically what the white man is telling us is, "he's got one drop of black blood. We don't want him. You guys take him." |

I agree with Kola and Renata.
If we go by "Anonymous" standard, then Jason Timberlake can be considered an authentic black man just because he's down for the cause.
Heck, George Michael and Christina Aguilerra could claim to be blacker than Wayne Brady!
What a thought
