If I wanted to move to Africa..Im wondering where would I want to live..any suggestions.? |

I personally don't care for East African countries, because of the Arab, British and Islamic influences.
**Don't live in Nigeria....and though most Black Americans run to South Africa---it's too much like a colony and it's filled with niggerstock. Don't go to South Africa or Namibia, you might as well stay in Mississippi.

In Gambia, the citizens don't pay taxes.
But in any of these countries, you would probably be living very RICH compared to the masses.
I love these countries that I named for you.
I would also love to live in Morocco, but because of my "name/career"--I can never go there. But I loved Morocco.

No.
Many Nigerians love Black Americans.
Many of my closest friends, including Chinweizu and Tolulope Ogunlesi...live in Nigeria.
It's just too volatile right now, it's too corrupt, it's too Euro-copy, it's a huge nation with a lot of oil and political dissent.
Marita Golden married a Nigerian and lived there in the 1970's.
I just don't personally care for it as much as the smaller West African countries, which are really NICE.
Like Senegal. I would love to live in Senegal.

Gambia is extremely poor, but I have a special love for Gambia.
Your great ancestor, Queen TinkaTekur II ruled at Banjul in Gambia.
TinkaTekur is my favorite African queen. I'm going to make a movie about her one day. So help me God.
It's 90% Muslim, but I love the Gambian people. They speak English and they're EXTREMELY friendly, easy going people.
The land is beautiful and the nights bring you paradise and youth.

A friend of mine once lived in Ghana (married a guy she met there). She LOVED it, and only moved back because her mother begged her to. A Nigerian friend of mine said that she actually hated Nigeria, but she did live in Ghana, Gambia, and Liberia before she moved to the US. She liked Ghana and Gambia, but won't even set foot in Liberia again.
I wish I could tell you from personal experience which place is nicest, but I can't. |

I don't know ANYTHING about the Ivory Coast and Senegal, except that the men who come here from there are HOT, very respectful and modest, and have gorgeous skin. Those that I've personally met anyways. |

yeah, just make sure that if you are a woman moving to Africa, that you protect yourself. In most parts of that continent, women have less of a voice and expected to put up with disrespect, assault, rape and God knows what else... |
