Do you have "The Write Stuff"?
You have seen reality shows but nothing like this! Armed with pencils, papers, computers and a dream, there will be 14 candidates that show they are up to the challenge of being vetted for "The Write Stuff". Before they can begin their journey, however, the auditions* have to take place across the country to find that special number that will make literary history. Look below to see how you can audition online and in person!

Guidelines for applying in-person and online for "The Write Stuff"

Shadow Play Entertainment and its partners are pleased to offer eight cities where interested persons can find out in real time if they will become a part of history with "The Write Stuff TV". Bring your personality and five copies of an essay (not to exceed 500 words) that tells us about you, what your talent and skills are as well as what you hope to get from the experience offered through "The Write Stuff". (You will read this to the judges as they follow along.)

Can't make it in person? Beginning January 1, 2009 "The Write Stuff TV" will be using its Youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/thewritestufftv to help individuals apply for the opportunity.

All you will have to do is submit a 3 minute youtube video link to thewritestufftv@juno.com along with the following information:

Name
Age (Must be 18 years of age or older)
Phone Number
Address
Myspace Link/ Website
Brief bio about you, what your talent and skills are as well as what you hope to get from the experience offered through "The Write Stuff. (Not to exceed 500 words) "
* QUALIFICATIONS/RESTRICTIONS FOR AUDITIONS: Anyone 18 years of age or older is eligible to audition for "The Write Stuff" unless you are currently under a contract with a publisher or have been published in the past by Hollygrove Publishing. In the end the winner of the contest will receive a one-book deal and other promotional opportunities by other sponsors. If a contestant is related to or has had dealings with either the producers, judges or sponsors of "The Write Stuff" this is not in itself a disqualification to participate in the competition. Each incident will be evaluated on a case by case basis by the producers of the show and a determination made based on the findings.
