The 2008 Afrocentric Book Expo



(Hyattsville,MD) - In celebration of Black History Month, The Black Writers’ Guild, MD – PG Chapter. presents the 2008 Afrocentric Book Expo. It will take place in the Mall at Prince Georges located at 3500 East West Highway, (Route 410) Hyattsville, MD 20782 on February 23, 2008 from 12noon-5pm.

Now in its fifth year, the Black Writers' Guild, MD -- Prince George's Chapter will showcase African-American literary talent.

Ms. Judine Bishop Slaughter is the content owner for the Express Yourself Books web site. She has a Bachelors degree in Organizational Management, and was nominated into Who's Who for Students in American Colleges and Universities. She is also a member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Scholarship Society. Ms. Slaughter has successfully organized the Black Writers' Guild, MD -- Prince George's Chapter for the last three years, by inviting writers and authors to present their expertise on publishing.
