Saturday, August 11, 2007 10:00 AM- 6:00 PM Ahmanson Senior Center Exposition Park Intergenerational Community Center 3980 S. Menlo Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90037 The third annual LOS ANGELES BLACK BOOK EXPO (LABBE) returns in the tradition of the past two Expos of 2004 and 2005 and invites you to attend the best Black book expo west of the Mississippi! LABBE 2007 features over forty author-exhibitors, a children's literary zone, an author-publisher reception, panel discussions, spoken word presentations, a media center for author and artist interviews, music, food, and some of the best in local, national and international up and coming authors, writers and poets. Please join us on August 10, 2007 for the opening night reception and on August 11, 2007 for another exciting all day literary family affair hosted by the California Writers Collective. LABBE 2007 will once again be held inside the Ahmanson Senior Center, part of the Exposition Park Intergenerational Community Center on 3980 S. Menlo Avenue in Los Angeles, get ready to join us for a good time as we present a progressive and positive approach to the written and spoken word.
