This is a RECURRING dream. I am in college. It is finals week. I have not gone to any classes, have not read any books, don't even really know when and where the finals are being held and I am afraid to ask anybody. Still I am running around trying to prepare--getting books, notes, trying to put something together while also trying to find out where the finals are (sometimes I learn that some of them may have already been given and have to decide what to do) This never happened to me. I am not taking any classes now. The dream is so vivid I wake up with my heart pounding and it takes me several minutes to restore calm and remind myself I am not in school at all. Can you use it? Do we gots a winna? | ||

Actually, the scenario of Chrishayden's dream is a common one according to people who study such things. Sleep experts claim that what is known as the "test" syndrome dreams are an indication of a person's anxiety about not being able to live up to expectations. Everybody experiences lapses into anxiety. Even those who are getting laid on a regular basis. | ||

Chris I had this dream myself; for about two years AFTER I finished my MBA. Im my version I was streed over failing a test and not graduating on time. I used to hate this dream, becuase I would wake up disappointed in myself becuase I flunked out of school. I dream was so vivid that I would lay there in bed a few minutes before I realized that I actually graduated. I would be quite relieved. I never shared that with anyone until many years later I was speaking with a woen who had graduate from the same school. For some reason that I can't recall now I mentioned my dream to her, and she said she experinced the same dream as well. I'm sure ABM was joking, but I was getting plenty of trim at that time. | ||
