Big Trouble. I dunno. I had big hopes for this boy--he came in with a stacked deck but I think he'd have done better if he'd acted with an eye toward 2010 and 2012 and taken it slow--he was elected to try to do something about the economy and the two occupations. Getting the economy was perhaps beyond his powers, but he should have been hard at work slashing stuff we don't need, lowering the deficit--and getting the hell out of Afghanistan and Iraq might have helped. Plus putting his foot in his mouth every chance he got couldn't help. It is clear that the first job of a newly elected President is to see he gets RE-elected--in his second term he can really do something. Right now, if a heart attack or stroke don't lay him low, he will be a one termer. Palin or somebody like her will be President and they can finish this mutha off-- | ||
