KOLA BOOF has been invited to lecture at University of Connecticut in Hartford, Conn. on Thursday, February 25th from 6 pm to 8. This is part of Nancy Pelosi's "World Women Authors Series". Kola will be lecturing about "fear of Third World female voices" in the publishing industry. They're having a "Dinner Reception" on campus for Kola at 8 pm. Professor Yvonne Davis is the coordinator. On January 8th, 2010 a VIDEO of Kola Boof's Photo Shoot for her final "topless" book cover will be posted on Kola's TWITTER account. The video shows Kola riding her horse topless and several other topless photo shoots for her upcoming Poetry Collection. A Video of Kola Boof singing at the "POETRY MATTERS FESTIVAL" will be posted later in the month. ____________ Kola Boof has two books coming out: "Virgins In the Beehive" June 15th, 2010 "Untitled Poetry Collection" Sept. 2010 | ||

UPDATE: Due to very bad weather in California, Kola's video "Naked at the Feast" won't be posted until Jan. 18th It's only 6 minutes long but it features footage from various photo shoots that are all outdoors. Most of it hasn't been shot yet. Kola is grateful for everyone who emailed her kind wishes and comments about her "comeback." Having illness, she did in fact go away. But the two year break is exactly what I think she needed. Thanks to the "lurkers" at aalbc.com for your continued support of Kola Boof. You're going to love the new books.  |
