I might have been wrong, but Jimmy Carter was RIGHT! Funny how it takes a white man to have some guts and speak up on behalf of Black folks. He deserves the John Brown Brass Balls Award for his candor. Obama did not do himself a favor by cutting the legs out from under him. First, the racist animals that are after his scalp will brook no apology, they are out to destroy him. Second, at least according to Black Talk Radio here in St. Louis (no, not the Corner, not the Hood, but for the most part the most informed Black folks in town) he did not do himself a favor amongst Black folk. The are very disappointed with him. He needs to zip his trap keep his head down and start preparing for the 2010 elections. | ||

Obama apparently has a blind-side. He sometimes seems lacking in just plain ol common sesne. In response to Jimmy Carter's statment, he could've simply relied on the old noncommittal standby of saying that President Carter was entitled to his own opinion. | ||

White pundits on all sides of the political spectrum are denying that racism is behind all of the opposition to Obama, citing how Clinton and Bush were subjected to the same vitriol. They specifically say that The Rght hated Clinton because he was a skirt-chasing womanizer, and The Left hated Bush because he was a dumb war-monger. Why can't they figure out that his detractors hate Obama because he's the "HNIC"?  | ||
