http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/survey-intro.zgi?p=WEB229K87SZB79 "Thank you for agreeing to take part in this historic survey about the lives of professional Black women. As explained in the previous section, we are seeking your opinions as professional Black men, about professional Black women. Please be assured that your responses are confidential as is your identity. Please answer all questions with your first “gut reaction” and as honestly as possible. The questions are probing on purpose so that we can gather real meaningful data across a number of areas that may affect your life. Thus, your candor and truthfulness is essential to the success of this groundbreaking initiative. "Results will be used to inform an upcoming book that will be released in June 2010. This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Please be sure that you have time to complete this entire questionnaire. Otherwise, please return later to the survey to share your thoughts, opinions, and ideas in a single session, rather than divide your time and responses. Thank you." |

FK, is this a joke? "Groundbreaking" data? From an internet survey using Zoomerang? How will the researchers ensure that the men are, indeed, "professional" and not just any old yahoo on-line? |

Beats me. How will they insure that the men are even men? I started filling out the survey, just to see what it was about. Hardly scientific, and I wouldn't hang my work on the data, but if it helps a writer... I figure "nonfiction" doesn't necessarily mean "scholarly". ;-) |
