I was really excited about True Blood when I first started watching it a bunch of weeks ago.

But the last couple of episodes felt like a complete waste of my time. Does anyone else, who has been watching, True Blood think it has fallen off?

True Blood: An HBO series based upon vampires and other odd beings. Currently in it's second season on HBO. http://www.hbo.com/trueblood/season2/

I know my "pop culture" quotient is pretty low so I automatically assume when I mention something like a popular TV program everyone else would know about it.

Troy I haven't seen yesterday's episode yet. But I thought the last 2 weeks were the best yet of the series. I am soooo glad to see more of sexy Vampire Eric!

Thanks for refreshing my memory, Troy. Obviously I havent been watching "True Blood".

As far as I'm concerned, there's an overload of vampire lore saturating the entertainment industry. Being a vampire, myself, I don't watch or read any of it. We're supposed to be scary, not romantic.

I am, however, really into "The Tudors", Showtime's series about Henry the VIII, whose favorite pass-time was beheading his wives and other enemies. Bloody good stuff!

I wouldn't consider u a Vampire Cynique. You are more like the old witch from the cartoon HR Puff & Stuff. However, I digress.

"Ture Blood" has to be one of the stupidest shows on T.V. Vampire as well as Zombie movies & shows can BE DONE WITHOUT!! There is just TOO MANY.

The script is contrived!! The accents are BAD!! And it is just an all around STUPID SHOW!!I think television now is just eggregious. Hardly any originality is to be found anywhere.

I'm amazed that you don't like "Ture" Blood, or any other popular TV fare, serenasailor. You gave a perfect description of what should appeal to an idiot like you. You wouldn't recognize quality programing if you saw it, so stop your stupid griping and go back to pickin your hairy toes.

I watch it but I really don't understand the storyline or anything that goes on in the show. Some of the scenes are very creepy and interesting though.

Finally saw last week's episode. It seemed like kind of a place holder for the season finale and was not nearly as good as the previous two weeks.

I really like this storyline, though--much more than the serial killer angle from last season.

Serenasailor, "...witch from the cartoon HR Puff & Stuff" LOL! Would you believe that was the second reference to H.R. Pufnstuf (or Puffing Stuff for the pot heads in the house) Wilhemina Witchiepoo in the last two weeks. I forgot all about that show.

If I was a witch, all you toads would really be in trouble. Vampire that I am, I will be charitable enough to take a pass on sucking your blood because I don't want to worsen your anemia.
