Lebron James - Dorothy-The Wizard Of Oz-It's all a dream.

Can we move away from the hype and tell it like it really is? Le' Bronze Jessie James will probably remain an also ran. Sure, he can leap tall buildings with a single rebound. He can also run through the lane like a bull blindly chasing the matadors cape. The league needs the Bron Tron like baseball needs the love-able losers - the Chicago Cubs. The bronze medal is for third place and lets all say it together ....maybe next year. It's highly possible that the bull in the china shop will never see a championship trophy.

Who other than Olympic type players can play with a guy that thinks the ball has to be in his hands? Lets keep it real, Bron Bron's game has holes in it. He turns the ball over because his moves are limited when he's outside the paint and that's real. The clock ticks away while he waits for the lane to open so he can bum rush anyone that might be brave enough to take a charge without wearing goalie padding.

I am so tired of hearing the cries that Le'Browntron needs a team around him. He had a team around him but it appears he believes his own hype. It's hard enough to hit a 3 pointer but it's even harder to do so when the ball is passed to you with 3 seconds on the clock. Third place Les' Bron used his team like a dirty dishrag. That's right, he passed them the ball to clean up his mess. Look at Thundertron's turnover stats and look at his percentage of made shots. Then look at those same stats of his team mates. Wholly Molly, BronBron's numbers tell the real story. On his team there were guys that can shoot the ball but they can't shoot the ball if they never get the ball. Where is Paul Harvey when we really need him. I think we all should hear the rest of the news.

I'll tell you the rest of the story. Brown ribbon Lebron will never get a blue ribbon. He may go back to Cleveland and receive the keys to the city but it's doubtful he'll ever raise the NBA championship trophy. NBA trophies are not awarded for hype machines and the most advertising dollars.

I wish people would stop saying that Micheal Jordan didn't win a championship in his early years, as if comparing shoot'em up Jessie James to Micheal Jordan. Heck, Jordan was the best player on the planet but now that title goes to Kobe - you know it. Well, everyone that knows basketball and is not afraid to say it, will tell you that Kobe is the man. There is absolutely nothing China Bull can do that Kobe can not trump. What? 3 point fade away ....Kobe. What? Dribbling/handles ....Kobe. What? Free throw shooting ....Kobe. Don't talk about passing skills .....yep, Kobe. So you wanna finish around the rim and not send 4 guys to the hospital with a blatant bum rush foul ....Kobe. Yeah, Big Brown Bron has huge muscles but so did King Kong.

I think it would be wise of Lebanon Jessie "shoot'em up" James, to stay right in Cleveland so the dream will continue. I'd hate for him to wake up like Dorothy did in the Wizard Of Oz and find out it was all a dream. I'd hate for him and his fans to appear in a commercial of him dreaming of a championship only to wake up standing in a cornfield with the scarecrow and Toto - their mascot.

It's all a dream. Wake up all you round brown basketball bron bron clowns. Don't believe the hype, it's like a drug. It comes in a little brown bottle called Le Bron James.

He ain't got no help. Remember when Michael Jordan was in the same situation with the Bulls, scoring 50 points in a game and still losing?

They had to go out and get him some help.

Basketball is a team sport. You need five guys out there producing.

Put LeBron with the Lakers. Or with Orlando. Do you think it would be different, hmmm?

What type of help did Michael get that Lebron does not already have on his team. Look, yeah, Micheal was scoring 50 but look at the rooster he had when they were NOT winning.

You are right, basketball is a team sport and Lebron should hear those words.

Are you kidding me! Lebron and Kobe ....there ain't enough balls on the floor at one time. I know you saw Lebron take his ball and go home. I mean, I know you saw him cry dry tears as he left the floor like a spoiled kid. Well, you don't ever want to see him cry when Kobe looks left and then right past Lebron and then shoots the ball *smile*

We'll see how ball hog Kobe fares against the Orlando upstarts who beat the tired old Celtics and overrated Cavaliers, adjectives that could also be applied to the Lakers. Kobe ran out of steam last year, exhausted from trying to do it all in the semi finals.

Michael Jordan didn't have to have a good players around him when he and coach Phil Jackson collaborated on how to run things every night on the phone. But Jordan did have Scottie Pippen, who was no slouch, as his second in command.

I 'ont care Carey, I still don't like gimme-the-ball-Kobe. Never have and looks like never will. I want to pull for the Lakers, I really do and I tried this year, I really did but that big head Kobe kept getting in the way. It pisses me off that I can't pull for my team but hopefully he'll be gone soon and take his can't-coach-worth-crap-without-a-'star' coach with him!

Yes, Kobe is a ball hog but he's a better ball hog than Lebron. I mean, he's a better player. Yeah, that's another element that puts Micheal and Kobe over the top - Phil Jackson.

I didn't want to beat up the cavs coach but the buck really stops there.

Yeah, it's hard to gage Orlando but they have already beaten the Lakers.

To be honest, I think it comes down to the best minds and the most experience. The scales leans heavily toward the Lakers. I know Kobe has a few rings and how many does Phil Jackson have? Orlando or any of it's players have how many rings????

Crystal, what's up with you and Kobe?

Why would you say that Phil Jackson can't coach!!!? The man has as many rings as he has fingers. So you are going to have to dig way down to support that gossip.

Shame on you Crystal Light. Kobe and Dwayne Wade gave Shaq a ring.

Carey that was an interesting piece. As interesting as any sports article I've read recently. Add some actual supporting stats and it would be all that. Even though I disagree...

Lebron is perhaps the best physical specimen in professional sports, big, athletic, coordinated, fast and most importantly young.

Jordan had Scottie Pipen, who was easily one of the top 10 ball payers at the time. Don't forget that nut Dennis Rodman a great defensive player.

If I were picking players in their prime. I would select Jordan over Kobe or LeBron. However if I were to pick a player on potential I would pick LeBron. He does not yet have the mental strength of Jordan and may never have the skill/technique of Kobe, but all in I think he has the greatest potential.

If LeBron had a Shaq/Grant/Jackson or Pippen/Rodman/Jackson -- he'd have a ring.

Troy you have a valid arguement ...even though I don't agree. Here is my point. The years Jordan was losing, they were losing big time. Now, the cavs have been winning big time. So I am left with the question of why haven't they managed to get over the top. The common answer is no supporting cast. But that's not true because as I'ver pointed out, they had the best record ...they can win. Sure Micheal had scottie and the crew but remember, they were taken to the wire on several occasion - okay. So it's obvious the other team that played them didn't have a Jordan or a Pippin. Are you still with me? Don't let your emotions get in the way of the truth. Now lets back up and talked about potential. The Cocolate Thunder had potential. Joe Berry Carrol had potential. Potential does not win games. Futhermore, did you read my post? Oh yeah, you did. Well, let me repeat, King Kong had hugh muscles and the potential to be a great ball player if he played with the right team - right *lol*? Look, you said if you were to pick a player on potential you would pick Lebron. That would be your choice but you could be left with ....a bronze medal.

Look at your "if Lebron had". Duh, give me Shag and Rodman and a host of other players and I'll show you a championship trophy. Whatcha sayin'?

Btw, I know you know the team the Bulls were playing against when Micheal made the last second pushoff shoot? ahh uhh, the Cavs! It's just so lame to say Micheal had this and that. Hell, there's been other teams win without Micheal, Shaq, Kobe and of course Lebron.

Now I will agree with one part of your formula. Jackson should be given credit. Well, someone needs to tell LessBron to pass the ball and shoot less. I know you agree that his dribbling skills leave something to be desired. Wait, maybe you think he has the POTENTIAL to be Marcus Haynes?

Look, I don't really follow the game that much to provide stats but . . . as I recall Phil's rings came from Michael and Shaq. How much coaching did they need? Now, if he goes to the Clippers and win a championship [hell even win a GAME] then he might be considered a good coach or miracle worker.

Again and yet again! Other coaches had those same players. What are you going to say when he gets his tenth ring. What, he had Kobe?

You're just sitting on the fence chewing on a bunch of hate. We can't help it if the Bruins suck. I have an idea, lets get Phil to coach those sorry bruins. If he wins over there would that satisfy you?

I get the sneaky feeling that you're just a sourpuss. What teams or coaches do you like? Oh yeah, you're probably an Harlem Globetrotter fan. Yep, they always win. They play a bunch of 4 foot white guys. Alas ....it just hit me. You was cool with Kobe until he tapped that white gurl and since Phil is white you don't like him either ....ooooooh, sounds like some Angela Davis type shit.

Tell me, tell me, tell me true/ tell me quick, tell me it's not true .....I'll wait while you go play the Last Poets.

Oh brother. I was waiting for the "cause he screwed a white girl" crap. You guys all act like your little ding-a-lings are the end all and be all. Why the heck should I care who he screws? If that was the case I probably wouldn't be able to like anyone in the NBA, NFL, or just a man walking down the street because as it's been said on this board before - that's what you all want anyway. Plus, can't you read? I've already said I've NEVER liked the boy. From his first season. Although he was probably already screwing white girls by then.

Here's the thing. I didn't like his 'I'm the next MJ' arrogance when he got here. He acted like the high school punk he was. And although he has mellowed somewhat I still don't like him. No big deal. I'd bet he doesn't even know. Why is it bothering you so? Are you his pimp or something?

What will I say when they win? The NBA sucks!

You got a problem with Ms. Davis? You'd better take it up with her. I dare ya!

Leave my Bruins out of this - you ain't qualified.

Well, it was a beat down last night. Doesn't mean anything though. Orlando can bounce back. But bro Kobe lived up to all the superstar hype and praise he receives. He turned in a stunning performance. We'll see, six more games to play......

No you didn't, NTSF. You didn't splash Kobe's sweat on Crystal.

See Crystal, we don't care who's snow Kobe has been sticking his prick in. I think you've been hanging around white people too much. Yeah, it called hustle and confidence when a white guy show determinated and doesn't suck everybodies ass. But noooooo, let a brotha stand like a man and he's arrogant.

I bet you believe that brotha really did put that mother and child in the trunk and drove them to Disneyland. I can hear you know "O lawdy lawdy, the Matan Boogieman, Kobe. All dem dair huge muscled black men are arrogant and love white women"

Btw, where is Thump? I wanted to ask him if I could borrow something. Well, I don't think he'll mind. See, I ain't saying it was you but somebody came by my little blogspot and wrote the words "Kobe Sucks" and signed it guess who ....***eyebrow raised***

I don't understand it.

You know about so many things--life, love, nuclear physics.

But when it comes to sports you don't know beans--

Even less than Cynique, who can't even remember the history of the Bulls.

According to her Michael Jordan never lost a game while he was in Chicago, furthermore he did it all by himself.

Where are you getting this fiction from, Chrishayden?? I did not say that Michael Jordan never lost a game or that he led the Bulls to their championship runs all by himself. I gave both Scottie Pippin and Phil Jackson their props in the one and only post I made on this thread.

Not only do you not make a distinction between your words and those of the people you are responding to in your confusing posts, but you also can't read other people's posts straight. I think you are in the early stages of Alzeimers.

Chris said he moved across town. If he keeps talking silly I'll know his address ...the mental ward of the public hospital.

Chris, you have to come back with a little supporting data. Btw, who where you talkng to?

I may not know beans but I can smell a fart when one comes my way and Lebron is full of a bunch of beans. Yeah, beans and rice, filler food.

Scottie Pippin, Dennis Rodman, Horace Grant and John Paxton. I've always thought of the Bulls as a winning team. Michael Jordan is not my hero. He had the killer instinct on court but off court, he never impressed me.
