My induction into the another dimension has continued. On any night in a semi state of wakefulnees I will see fleeting random entities. I've a seen a figure dressed like the grim reaper only instead of being garbed all in black, it was cloaked in white. I've seen a soldier in fatigues, a big red bug with lacy wings and a human face, a coy woman who turned her back on me and then looked back over her shoulder and smiled. An old white lady. A good looking brother. On and on. None of these apparitions appear malevolent or seem to mean me any harm. Then there is my TV which has also turned into a receptor. Often I wake up from a deep sleep and when I gaze at the screen the picture either breaks up or becomes grainy and then the images appear to be covered with beautiful glitter. My legs and feet and hands will then also be outlined in glitter, and my body tingles all over. It's a rather soothing experience. Maybe this is what the ancients called fairy dust. I have also experienced phantom smells. Usually fragrant but - sometimes unpleasant. What I have deduced from all of this is a combination of things. I'm convinced that my heart medications have mind-altering properties and on my next appointment intend to ask my physician to adjust the dosages. And, my old house probably has become inhabited with entities invited in by my chanting which may have also made me a medium for paranormal activity. Finally, the connection between these episodes and my being in a twilight sleep when they happen may be the equivalent of an Alpha state which can make me suceptible to hallucinations. Because my left ear has been stopped up for a while now, and this has caused dizziness which effects my balance, last week I made an appointment with a specialist who scheduled me for an MRI. I had to undergo this examination to have my skull scanned to see if I have any obstructions or tumors. Today the nurse called and told me... Final chapter tomorrow. |

Well, the nurse said the brain scan showed no abnormalities but did have a few new wrinkles in it. Good Night! My imaginary friends are calling. |

You really need to be writing this down or making a tape. When it blows over you won' be able to recall them... |

Thanks, FK. Nothing has changed but at least I have been able to rule out one possibility when it comes to the ongoing bizarreness I live with. If things weren't so slow on this board, I never would have taken up the time and space to reveal all of this. I think Troy is right when he says regular posters have just run out of things to talk about. |

Cynique, I am also glad you have at least ruled out one serious cause. I do not know why you dismiss writing all this for a wider audience. "Illness narratives" are big, and your tale would certainly have a different spin. As for board participation, I kind of have spring fever, I guess. I am new to gardening (never having owned a home before) and lately have really gotten into developing my green thumb. It is rt of yellowish green right now but I have managed to keep most of my plants alive! |

Chris, dog poop is the shit. Really, scope up a little and watch your green thumb grow. I mean, put on some gloves or your thumb my grow and then fall off but plants love do-do. Have you ever seen those thick clumps of grass that grow in the yards of dogs? |

That advice should be directed to Yvette, Carey. I don't know why it's so HARD for Chrishayden to put quotes around the comments he is responding to so we can distinguish between his words and the words of the person he is answering! I fuss at him all the time about this but he keeps on doing it! |

Okay Cynique, I 've seen you tell Chrishayden this before but I still frequently get confused. Do you think he is being obstinate ...or what? |

Do you think he is being obstinate ...or what? (No. I am being Obdurate. Chris Hayden (aka The Godfather of Soul) uses parentheses. Quotes are for the little people...) |

You dont use quotes or parenthesis, Chrishayden. Because, as I have said mpteenth times, you have tunnel vision and are apparently incapable of injecting coherence into your replies to other posters. |

What I wrote above amounted to my final report, Troy. As I said, nothing has changed. The things I mentioned are still going on - with some variations. I have defintely developed some kind of a second vision. If I close one eye and stare at an object long enough, it will either blur into a mist or will "glitter", or will seem to fluctuate... My fleeting image last night was a young hip hopper dressed in a hoodie. Really strange. As for the lottery... I have scattered crystal rocks on the table next to the recliner where I sleep and this week I rubbed my lottery tickets with the crystals, then did some other little rituals and I missed winning my state's 4-million dollar lottery by 2 numbers whose digits were reversed. So, all I won for 4 correct numbers was $38.00. I'm either getting close or -that was my big chance and it was out of kilter! BTW, Li-Li, my winner was a quick pick. I have been reminded that my blood type is "O" Rh negative and that people with Rh negative blood are an enigma. Scientists can't figure where this blood mutation came from. 15 percent of the population has it, and weird folks who specuate about such things say that we with the Rh "negative" trait are descendants of humans who mated with aliens who once visited Earth... I continue to keep an open mind about all of these mysterious going-ons which, in the twilight of my years, have crept into my life. |

I think my daughter of O- hummm better keep my eye on her. Well it is a fascinating series of stories. Next time share the numbers here -- I'll play 'em here in NYC. I'll even give you some of my winnings! |
