The release of Elizabeth Edward's latest book detailing her reaction to her husband's affair with another woman is currently drawing a lot of criticism. Especially from wives taking her to task for not leaving her straying mutt. This puzzles me. I do question why she feels the need to air her dirty laundry by way of a book but I'm assuming this is a catharsis for her and the fact that she is dying of cancer doesn't absolve her from being a tad vengeful. But, as Elizabeth has said, she married ex-presidential candidate John Edwards for better or worse, and that there were a lot of things he did and continues to do right in their marriage. What she didn't say was that this male animal was probably sexually-frustrated because he wasn't gettin much nookie from her due to her illness and that altho his spirit was willing his flesh was weak and his ego vulnerable to the flattery of skeezers. I seem to be in the minority when it comes to empathizes with how devastated wives become when they discover that they are not the center of their husband's universe, - not the sunshine that has blinded him to everything but the assets there for him to adore as he gazes up at the pedestal where these less-than-perfect wives think they should be placed. I say this to say that when the good out weighs the bad I, personally, think that a woman should be willing to give her husband a second chance in the spirit of forgivance. Certainly chronic players should be given the boot, but women should ask themselves if their pride being hurt rather than their trust being broken is what really pisses them off when they discover infidelity. And of course, in my cynical view, a woman should never totally invest herself in a man because this is just setting herself up for disappointment. |

(Screw Edwards. If he had his game tight, she would have squelched the s***. She is making his punkass pay and more power to her. To think this idiot thought he could be a viable candidate...it is bad enough that he is carrying on the affair--this could be forgiven. But while she had cancer?) What she didn't say was that this male animal was probably sexually-frustrated because he wasn't gettin much nookie from her due to her illness and that altho his spirit was willing his flesh was weak and his ego vulnerable to the flattery of skeezers. (I fault mothers. They should explain to their daughters that the best they can hope for is the man bringing home all the bacon to them and that he will get a little on the side--that the only time they have a complaint is when the man is trying to have two "women". It is better to have just one. It really is. It is better not to eat ice cream before you go to bed, too. And so it goes. It is so wonderful to reach 60 and realize that it is all b***s***.) (The man who can remain utterly faithful to one woman is indeed a rarity. All this monogamy stuff is good for is keeping property and inheritance tight. Marriage is a business proposition. All this true love and faithfulness is a farce. More mature societies accept this.) |

Damn, Chrishayden! You're worse than I am. Surely there are some idealists out there to refute our debatable conclusions. |

Elizabeth Edwards has been dying for the better part of 10 years running. Hell, after riding sidesaddle to that for all this time, even Jesus Christ himself would be out to try to hit some sidebooty. |

Lemme tell ya somethin When it comes to infidelity it takes two to tango? The man is not the sole adulterer--so is the slut who moves in on a married man--often at his most vulnerable period--with full knowledge that he is married. The main problem WOMEN DO NOT RESPECT EACH OTHER'S CLAIMS TO THEIR HUSBANDS AND MEN. In fact, many a woman has stated to me that if a b**** can't hold on to her man she don't deserve him. Oooh! Somebody slap me! |

Hell, after riding sidesaddle to that for all this time, even Jesus Christ himself would be out to try to hit some sidebooty. (If you think John Edwards was celibate all this time, I got some subprime mortgages to sell you. He's a Southerner. Them boys like their guns, their whisky, their horses, and their outside pussy. He was probably banging all his wive's bridesmaids before, during and after their wedding. |
