Ladies! ...ladies, please please please, stop crying wolf.

I was inspired to write this piece after reading one by Go Zack, "why women like Dumb Men". I am going to stretch out on this one so kiss me in the morning.

I've noticed that most women have a penchant for blaming men for ...well, their own errors in judgement. Maybe I shouldn't even call it an error in judgement. For the most part, they know what time it is when they get hooked up with Mr. Tom Foolery. Tell me, how long does it take for a woman to find out a man is married? Come on now, is this a Bill Withers moment or what ..."use me to do the thangs I do, because I sure 'em using you to do the thangs you do".

Please spare me, most women know what kind of party it is coming through the door. Who wants to be wrong, I don't, but come on ladies, stop crying wolf. Women can only play the nut-roll for so long. How many times can a person get caught walking out the store with candy stuck in their purse and say they "forgot" to pay. How many times can a women drink too much Cognac and then say she was taken advantage of. How many times can a person speed through a neighborhood going 80mph and say they didn't know the speed limit.

I say nut roll, some say nut-role. I say utt oh, some say doin' blow. Flip it, smack it, rub it around ...it's cryin' wolf. The brotha didn't have a woman when they met him ...why? Or, he had one but they didn't care ...why? The brother didn't have a job when they met him ...why? Or, they didn't care ...why? When the sugar daddy stopped bringing the candy he was a bad brother ....right? Give me a break ....I'll tell you why ...well, the answers are not in the lyrics of Cryin' Wolf. Nope, they are more like that of the cryin' time song..."it's cryin' time again, you're gonna leave me, I can see that far away look in your eyes, I can tell by the way you hold me darling, that it won't be long before it's cryin' time" ....WHY?

Is it true that most of our problems can be solved by looking in the mirror? I for one believe that to be true. I wonder why men leave some women? Is it because in many cities men outnumber women 10-1 and they are just dogs in heat? Or do women not know how to treat a good man and therefore run him away. I remember getting this great battery run car for Christmas. My father told me to stop banging it against the wall and to turn it off before the batteries ran out. I loved that car and it loved me. Yet, after a short period of time "I" hated that car because one of the wheels fell off and the batteries ran down. I abused that car, I took it for granted. Can a women simply run a man down? How many times can she ask him where he's been before he says he doesn't know but he has to get outta here. Men can just jump in their cars and go out a scratch their nuts and do nothing but nope, ol'boy hasda be doing something wrong. Why do most women think domestic violence is always at the hands of a man. Why did Chris Brown allegedly hit Ri-Ri? Do I dare touch that subject or have the sides already been drawn?

Aretha Franklin said to get a do-right women, you gotta be a do-right man. Okay, I can buy that but if it's good for the geese ....you know the lick ....YA GOTTA BE A DO-RIGHT WOMAN! How long does good stand up men have to hear the wolf cries of "dirty dogs" and "trifling Ni**as"? How long are women going to continue rolling around with that nut-role face, feigningly proclaiming they've been duped? See, I know some dog ass women and some trifflin' ...ahh, you know. BUT, you don't hear men crying in their beer when ol'girl decides the thrill is gone. What? ....are women more sensitive than men or are men more honest with themselves?

I wish there were proceedings for women like those they have in congress in which they grill someone over an alleged allegation against them. Or better yet, the accuser has to state their case in front of those that can discern wolf cries from self-delusion. I wonder how many women would be willing to sit in front of that firing squad? No coke, no chaser ...come on Ms. Roaming Eyes, state your case. Come on Ms. Bug The Shit Out Of Him For Nothing ...state your case. Step right up Ms. I Gained 200lbs ...what's the problem. Come on Ms. Boring ...you say he's never at home ....let's hear it. Come on Miss He Doesn't Make Enough Money ...tell us why he's not a good man.

Will somebody please stop playing that music? I am tired of hearing Crying Wolf. When can we flip the record to the B side and hear something like ...I was wrong? How long before the cook realizes they should eat a little of their own cooking before serving it to others? Can the man be the victim? Can a women be a nasty ahh ...you know. Does a good man deserve a good women. Yes yES YES! .... a thousand time yes, I'd rather die than say no. What's wrong with A Million Women Walk in which they shout the errors of their ways and confess their sins against men. Can they carry a banner saying hitting a man is not being a women? Can their hands pen the words, honor thy father?

How long will the hill be slanted that allows women to roll down that same old slippery slope of playing the Nut-Role? Is it time to stand up and say there are millions of good black men but you have to give some to get some? Show me yours and I'll show you mine but please please please ....I wish they would stop crying wolf!
