Generally the feedback I get is overwhelmingly positive. Positive feedback is always encouraging and motivating. It is good to read when I'm up late at night, tired and cranky.

I also like and need the constructive criticism. I'm thankful any time someone takes effort to offer comments on where improvement is needed. Even if if is just to say I misspelled a word somewhere.

Sometimes the comments are just complaints with no explanation, not return email address just a negativity hit and run. These happen occasionally, but the other day was unusual the following message came with in the span of 24 hours:

"Five times I tried to purchase books total $34.00 but was unable to complete my sale. I tried because I wanted to support your organization and I wanted the books. The process to purchase is too cumbersome and not user friendly. I will shop elsewhere"

Since we just started selling books directly, on a much larger scale, I would have liked to have known how the woman ran into trouble. There was no other information not even an email address. (besides I wanted to know what combination of books I'm selling only totaled $34 ;-) ). Sure our process is far from perfect, but no process is. The person took enough time to write this; seems they would have simply explained what went wrong.

"you stupid niggers you need to get a real life instead of making movies with black actors or actresses out to be bad heres a good movie to review mississippi burning watch those niggers have some fun "

The nigger mail strikes me as anachronistic these days. So there really are still racists out there who hate Black people for no other reason than ignorance? I used to think these were just idiots having their version of a good time. I'm not so sure any more...

Make no mistake about it.Just check up on the sheer volume of web-sites affiliated with Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Brotherhood, etc, etc..The followers of these and other similar organizations number in the millions and are found in the highest levels of government, business and academia. It isn't just those folks refered to as 'trailer trash'.Nothing anachronistic about it.Racism is not a thing of the past.In fact, it seems to be thriving.
