It's a good thing, author, Vickie Stringer, is number #130 with her novel Imagine This, on Amazon.com. Now she'll have a few chips to replace some of the bouncing checks she has been alledged to have passed.

Asante Kahari, author of Murder Inc., (one of the worst books ever printed in my opinion) is whining like a baby cause his newest novel, Homo Thug was released in June apparently un-edited by Black Print Publishing just the way he submitted it. He supposedly has signed to a three book deal and would now like to opt out of the contract on the grounds that his reputation as an author has been shattered because of nothing more than recklessness on the part of Black Print. Ohhhh, give me a break. He had to know he needed to get his work edited before he submitted it to a publishing house . . . didn't he? Most of the respectable, sincere authors that I know, who put their name on the cover, know the craft and the basic fundamentals of the industry rules. You don't cry foul in the majors when you miss the ball. You know the game and how to play it. Asante should have watched from the bench before stepping to the plate, swinging at every pitch. |
