Washington, D.C. bureaucrats gave Rosa Parks a rousing send off. So what? Washington, D.C. bureaucrats just love to talk about how much they love Dr. King now that he's dead. The status quo loves our black heroes more when they're gone than when they're alive. When they're gone, they can't galvanize the people, talk common sense to the masses, and open the eyes of black folks to how we're creating our own racial genocide. I wasn't impressed by how white America treated Rosa; I was impressed by the love black America showed her. |
