Everybody thought "American Idol" Season Three winner FANTASIA BARRINO was a LOCK for the role of Effie White in the upcoming movie version of "Dreamgirls". Heck, JAMIE FOXX all but DEMANDED that she be cast during some recent interviews. Well, she wasn't. Fantasia lost the role to somebody who lost to HER on "American Idol": JENNIFER HUDSON. The beautifully afro'd singer joins BEYONCÉ as another member of a singing trio based on DIANA ROSS & THE SUPREMES. The third member has yet to be cast. Hudson said, quote, "I was sure Fantasia got it. But they said they wanted me. They said I was born for this."

I'm sure I'm going to be screamed at for this, but I don't think I would want to have to sit through a movie hearing Fantasia TALK! Everytime I see/hear her on local tv station interviews I all but cringe!

Here's a picture I googled for Jennifer Hudison:

I also HOPE *ALL* of the cast will have some chocolate SEX APPEAL! I wonder why they don't try out other singers for the part like TONI BRAXTON OR ASHANTI to fill the other 2 spots?

BTW, Beyonce probably do NOT look like Diana Ross or ANY of the Sumpremes!

I don't think Beyonce has to look like Diana Ross for this part. All she needs is a diva attitude. When the musical Dream Girls originally appeared on the Broadway stage a few years back, none of the female cast members bore striking resemblances to The Supremes whose story this musical was loosely based on. Anyway, I was happy that Chicago's own Jennifer Hudson snared a part in this production because she really does have a better and stronger voice than Fantasia.

Not "your bad", just your predictable ignorance, big daddy.
