The 70s?? I don't advocate murder, but I DO advocate certified self-defense...fighting fire with fire. Black people should definitely not start a blatant murder campaign, but we need to become more educated about how we're being destroyed at this point in the game, so we can learn to effectively defend ourselves when those attacks surface. | ||

I don't think the professor is really saying blacks should go out and start killing white people. I think he is saying that in order for black people to truly be free on this earth, we need to arm ourselves because there will definitely come a day when we will have to kill millions of whites or actually exterminate them if necessary but only as a last resort. I personally feel the spiritual repercussions of wholesale slaughter to be too much to consider, but that doesn't mean we shouldnt look at some aspect of armed resistance. I think its easy to demonize this brother, but the reality is that he actively teachs all aspects of Black redemption including, several African language, African spirituality, dress, etc. He is a seasonsed organizer, a entrepreneur among other things. Seems to me even if he advocates for violence he is still more balanced and accomplished than most of us. | ||

Brother Kambon is perfectly articulating the sentiments of some... many... whites who wish that Blacks would just pack up our rap records and demands for better paying jobs and go away. What's frightening is that many whites in government, the sciences and HR depts. are actually in a position to make a contribution to that cause -- and do so, in some way, every day. I haven't forgotten why Rosa Parks refused to unseat on that bus; about the Tuskegee Experiment; or that we weren't supposed to learn to read. I see sad, modern-day remnants of it all everyday. Blackamericanking: It would still remain that we'd need to get our shit together. A certain segment of Black slaves thought going back to Africa (i.e. Liberia) would resolve our "issues", but the only thing they did upon return was to carry the "slavemaster" back with them. The Liberians who'd always been on the land had to kill many of the negroes during uprisings to get them to see this. So, randomly killing whites and certain other nonblacks won't change the dynamic of what exists...it will only create a negative cycle of karma. I say for us: 1. Let's learn self-defense; 2.
