From today's All Things Considered: Earlier this year, an auctioneer in Howell, Mich., 50 miles outside of Detroit, sold nearly a dozen Ku Klux Klan robes to various buyers. The sale stirred a furor of protests by the residents of the predominately white community. For commentator Desiree Cooper, the auction provided a chance to give her teenagers an education.
