My friend and I are treating ourselves to writers' retreat in D.C. over the long President's Day weekend. Part of the time, we'll be at the Akwaaba Inn (the Zora Neale Hurston suite!), but I'm not sure what part of the city we'll be in after that. No matter, because...we have car, will travel and are interested in finding some fun places to hangout. We like coffeehouses, Caribbean and Asian food, jazz and R&B, dancing--we're all over the map!
