**Cynique will probably smack me for posting this--but I'm not allowed on the other board--AND this press release (about my new tour dates) may be of interest to those who aren't on my publisher's email list and wouldn't know otherwise.

By the way--if Jervey Tervalon should see this, I'm rooting for him and I totally appreciate his courage in having his say and speaking up. I think it's atrocious and tacky what Atria is trying to do to him, not that I particularly care for his books, but I do think talent like his should be respected and nurtured....NOT that the pretentious fake-kente cloth wearing Black Queen Bees that run that company care what a "WILD NAKED FOOL" like Kola Boof thinks.

Jervey--"fuck 'em!" They don't like me either, babe.

This press release goes out in January.

"Diary of a Lost Girl" ...Kola Boof's long awaited autobiography comes to stores in Summer 2005. From war torn Sudan to being raised by Black Americans to spending 6 dangerous months as Osama Bin Laden's "mistress"--it's like nothing you've ever read before. EVEN BETTER...than what you're expecting!

(Click on book cover for details)

_____________

People in Los Angeles can hear me in an interview on KPFK's daytime show "Some of Us Are Brave"---next Wednesday from 2 pm to 3. We taped 90 minutes today but they will edit it to 1 hour. I was REALLY proud of the interview and they had a black woman asking me INCREDIBLY fantastic questions.

Right on! Keep on Keepin' on! Door of Kush!

Do you have any plans to record any of your appearances and maybe make them available over the net as MP3s?

Why would I want to smack you, Kola? You can self-promote all you want. It ain't my board. Carry on.

Thanks Cynique.

Incidentally, the interview I did with "Some of Us Are Brave" has been re-scheduled for either Black History Month or Women's History Month. They haven't given me the exact date yet.

And...anyone attending the PAN AFRICAN FILM FESTIVAL next month in Los Angeles at Magic Johnson's Theatures can see a very interesting documentary called "RELATIONSHIPS" by Donovan Salmon. **I'm in it for two very long segments and it's quite interesting.
