This actually more a song than a poem. But, have at it.

STAND WITH YOU

Baby, I will stand with you.
No matter what the others do.
Until my final breath is through.
Yes...
Forever I will stand with you.

And Honey, it’s our day.
Sun and starlight guide our way.
So let us move without delay.
Yes...
Forever it will be our day.

For you my Precious, I will care.
I will always be right there.
With warming comfort all to share.
Yes...
For you My precious I will care.

That's pretty ABM. Your wife must be a special lady.

See, I told you that you should be a writer. Even something as simple and pedantic as this little love poem comes across very nicely in your hands.

I sometimes think you are IN PRINT. I really like both of you a lot, although you can be out of line sometimes. He seems more square.

I would die to have a book by IN PRINT.

Have you ever tried to start a novel before, ABM? Or write your life?

How come you don't want to write books? Your posts are among the most witty compelling ones I come across here (other than when you're being out of line).

I am glad you liked my little diddy (Jeez! It's good to get some postitive feedback from 'round deeze parts fo' a change.) Yes, Katrina. I am a VERY bless man, as my wife is a beautiful and wise woman (in spite of her maritial choice).

And she and I often 'try' to write songs together. But alas she is a skilled, serious pianist and composer. Whilst I am a lowly neophyte songwriter (whose songs mostly "fart in the wind" as Dear Sis. Shiree Sarana had suggested about my infamous poetry).

So you can imagine that this mixmatched musicmaking duo OFTEN struggle.

No, I am not the illustrious Mr. InPrint. He is WAY 2 modest/mature in his delivery for us to be one-n-the-same. Maybe if I ever grow up, he is who I will become.

You know, I have started several 'great' novels before. But I get BORED so easily that it's hard for me to keep the project movng forward. I guess I am just woefully immature.

And I know I am often too naughty (Actually, I often expect Troy/Thumper to tell me to knock-it-off. But they never do.) I have always been the kid who took a good joke just a wee bit too far (lacking self-control or maybe lacking Ritalin, who know?)

But you gottah admit it is fun when I tease yawl a lil bit, Baby Doll. Don't you think?

And look at things this way: I give to you for FREE what the Grand Dame of Eroticism Mistress Zane charges yawl $24.95/book for. HAHAHA!!!

ABM:
Good job of re-inventing yourself, Longfellow... Control yourself. Don't go there!
