VAMPIRE by Adeola Adewale Camping in the forest With friends and family Camping in the forest With friends and family I’m so happy as can be Something woke me up last night With great intensity It was that old, old creature I didn’t go near her SNAP! But I did get a picture What could it be? Oh, what could it be? Oh what could it be I said to myself As I went to sleep The mystery is not yet solved Do you know what that Dark old, old creature could be The next day my friend looked at the picture And said girl you must be crazy It’s a vampire SCREECH!!!! Making friends is difficult, a never-ending task. Perhaps they get TOO hungry so the friendships never last. Isn't it an AWFUL thing, they can't go in the light? Resting in the daytime, only coming out at night? Running through the dark woods My clothes are drenched in sweat. To escape a FIERCE vampire Before he bites my neck. I scared him with a dagger Holy water and the Cross. I tried to scare him with a dagger Holy water and the Cross. But I tried all this in failure And I felt my life was lost. The vampire has caught me And he's thrown me on the ground. I said the vampire has caught me And he's kicked me to the ground.
