For Mama Ntr (Nature) "The Purging" Watastar(2004) Did you not listen to the wordwarrior who sees? Did you not listen to Isanusu? Fine, You will have to learn the hard way. The Earth is crying She is crying tears held in for so long She has been stabbed And raped Left for dead And, as if that were not enough, taken for granted by her very own children Do you see her weeping? She is weeping As the wind blows, hear her mourn The storm is the anger And the warning That she will not take this much longer No.. She will not take this much longer... You sit there Keep sitting And laughing While I sit and laugh *taunt* You have no idea what Mama has in store for you You never respected her anyway... Oh you will never taste the honey Until the honey is no more No, you will never taste the honey Until the honey is no more When the sky opens And the Earth quakes And the glaciers resign, And the trees decide to set each other afire Much of what you once knew will be no more... You will be no more. You will be no more... You will be no more. As the body is dis-eased when the electrolytes are off balance, The elements of Mama Ntr are off balance Yes, she is out of balance But Mama used to say, "If I'mma be mad, EVERYBODY IN THE HOUSE IS GONNA BE MAD!!!" Oh it will get crazy Oh it will get very, VERY crazy And she will throw up And she will cry And she will release her wastes, you included Hell, probably even me But one thing is for sure She will be standing when her inhabitants are no more She's done it before, you know Your body does it, whether you try to or not Some people even get colonics She will ALWAYS do it, what, did you think The Earth needed not purge? Oh she will purge..And purge and purge..and purge Until she is dis-eased no more Some call this "Apocalypse" And that's cool. As for me, though? I simply call it the Universal or natural law of order and balance... | ||

Boy, watasta, the Enviromentalists would really love this poem. Or would they?
