THE FORGOTTEN DIVINE In this space of sacredness I've seen your tender smile in the faceless names Gently, like the majestic sunrise pushing through the diamond filled sky Time and intuition beckoned me to speak of love My heart opened wide to the whispers and shouts of your forgotten divine During the shadow of the seasons last, full moon The earth wept to me and spilled it's bleeding heart Earnestly, my soul danced to a pulsating rhythm that will never be my own What shall I take in my arms but these broken dreams and painful lullabies? Moonie, great poem, seriously. I thoroughly enjoyed it...honestly. Except you put a little something extra at the end that's going to cause you some trouble. *I copyright all my work* I can hear their footsteps. They are preparing to pounce. These cats will spill your blood, And drink every ounce. Your words of Peace, Love and Grace, Won't protect you when they roam. That last line sounds like, "These stupid niggas might steal my poem!" Moonie, Moonie, can't catch a break...nice poem, though. You see, Moonmaiden, if you gonna post here, you gotta think like black folks. Always thinking that "Whitey tryna get us!", "What the hell Whitey mean by that?", You a white girl on the AALBC. Its a little different than being a black girl on a white site. Moonsigns, That is quite a poetic bon voyage. BTW: According to US Copyright Law, a poem is copyright protected the moment it is written. So as long as you can prove you wrote it first (e.g., it has been published/distributed), the law will cover your work. Registration with the Library of Congress, though advisable, is not legally necessary. Carey, I guess when a Moon comes offering her pie, a brothah like Lambd is apt to comply (Hey! Yawl see that rhyme?). I'm sure A_womon is 'thrilled' by that. | ||

She's Jazzy too I see. Oh well, tough t(*&y but somebody gotta ....... I just bought a new car for my son and I have to do all the stuff that goes along with that and I don't have time today to get down with y'all so bye for today......or at least for now. Mr. Charlie said I have to be at his beckon call at 5pm until 7am, and you know what.....I'll be there! Yep, I have to be able to put some chickens on the table so I'll be there. I'm blessed to have a means to support my pleasures. This here cable bill is $60.00 and that's nothing to snez at. Some might have it like that but not me. I could go for that free slower means on the net but it doesn't fit my frantic mind. I need mine NOW. And sometimes this cable hookup ain't fast enough, it you know what I mean. Anyway, I'm gone, love ya all .......well most . btw, my girl Kathleen Cross has a new book out and I can't wait to talk with her about it. I've heard through the grape vine that's it's a doozzy!
