Moonsigns does your black husband kiss your white feet everynight? Does he tell you how lucky he is to have a white woman? Does he put black women down and reassures you that he would never leave you for a black bitch? Does he coddle over his little mixed kids? Is he one of those black men that look at other black children with disgust, and thank god that his children have "good hair"? Do you look at and laugh at other black women and say things like" No wonder all of their men keep running to us"?

Me, too!
Men and women handle themselves differently--especially in regards to "business" and relationships of people they don't know. Women are competitive and catty. Men are confident and egotistical. The accusatorial tone of the "questions" Serena had for me are the kind that are only provoked by too many hours of unproductive, FEmale conversation--kinda like the scene out of 'Jungle Fever' where Wesley's (movie) wife and her girlfriends are huddled together--feverishyly trying to dissect the nature of his affair with his white co-worker--with absolute disregard to the crucial element of natural, human sexual behavior and attraction.
Men may disagree with the principle of something, however, if a situation doesn't positively or negatively influence their own life, usually, they don't over-analyze or feel threatened by someone else's life or lifestyle. However, most women are completely opposite.
Serenasailor gave herself away. Surprise, surprise.

Some other women on the boards attempt to justify their beliefs by perpetuating stereotypes about BM/WW. It's all the same, though. And no "new thread" needs to be started when anyone with common sense (and humility) can re-read the many, many threads where this competitive cattiness happens to surface.

There is vast difference between expressing passionate emotions when it comes to evoking political change compared to the competitive, catty emotions expressed by SOME women, women like yourself, who can't mind their own business in regards to legal relationships within a democracy-- that have NOTHING to do with them.
