I think they are both attractive and for very different reasons. And while I don't care if women choose to wear weaves, I'm really curious as to what they both look like with their natural hair--it would change their look entirely. |

I personally don't find either of them all that attractive, I think someone like Sheryl Lee Ralph and Angela Bassett is much more gorgeous than both of them. |

Thank you. I thought I was the only one who felt that way. They are both attractive women but I never thought they lived up to all the hype and idolatry worshipping. Not being critical, but that is what I feel. I'm not into the drop dead gorgeous and stunningly good looking woman thing. I personally look for other things. But a pretty face is nice on the eyes. Whether it be man or woman, I'm sure this is something we can all agree on. I don’t think many guys would kick Naomi or Tyra out of the bed and not many women would send their drink back to Denzil. |

I don't even find them drop dead gorgeous or stunningly good looking. They are pretty...average pretty, but very tall. Height gets you into modeling, not necessarily looks. I've seen some butt ugly models that I KNEW I was much better looking than. |

Neither do I. But I do think they are attractive. If they went out doing the club thing, trust me, they would get a lot of free drinks and play. But then again, if you have a big booty and good curbs (not saying they have big booties)and a not so good face, you can get that. |

well i don't know how old some of you posters are on here, but the way ya'll are talkin, it seems like yall are kinda old. angella bassett and ms.ralph are very attractive older women. I think that yall like them more maybe because you can relate to them more. they seem to be more down to earth and they look like your everyday beautiful black woman. Anyway, i'm rambling... if you ask me, Naomi is better looking than tyra... i never though that until i saw those two walk in the victoria secrets show or whatever this year, and it was tyra's last show and she let the other models outshine her, especially naomi.

Well, I'm 31 (don't know if that's considered old to you), but I just think, age not even being a factor, that Sheryl Lee is just the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen, young, old, dark, light, black, white, whatever. LOVE THOSE LIPS!
I do respect your opinion. Perhaps it's a male/female difference in what's attractive. Naomi and Tyra ARE swimsuit models, after all, and that may make a difference to guys. |

I think Naomi is drop dead gorgeous. I think she is prettier/more beautiful than Beyounce, Ashanti, Aliyah, Vanessa Williams, Angela Basset, Sanaa Latham, Eve, and Britney Spears. And I think she is as pretty/beautiful as Halle Berry, Jada Pickett Smith, Jasmine Guy, Jennifer Lopez, and Jessica Simpson. And I think she is EXTREMELY underrated among blacks, Hispanics, and the larger culture as well.
Had she been given half of the credit that she deserves, she'd be valued (in terms of money superstardom adoration and power) waaaay more than most of the women listed above. And had she been given 40% of her due credit, she'd be valued on the same level as Britney and Beyounce. And at 80% Jennifer. And at 97% Halle. |

I think ALL the women cited above are very lovely women, just in different ways. Because, really, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
But Lathan, Campbell and Bassett would be amongst my top round draft picks. |

well take your stankin' ass to some model try outs, if you are successful as tyra in her profession then i guess you are right. not saying that tyra is the measuring stick for beauty, but shes a good hater indicator. until you appear in a magazine (not black tale either) quit talking smack on the sidelines, like haters always do.

Doberman23, not every woman who look better than Tyra (or Halle or Beyounce or Alicia or Naomi, for that matter) are in magazines or participating in try outs. Those activities are not for everybody, qualified or not. Some women find them a bit demeaning, while some are unsettled by that kind of attention.
