I am a black male who loves his sisters. I could not imagine myself with any other. Even in a crowd I will always notice the black women even if she is not pretty. Are there any other black men in here that do this also? I really can't understand why any black man would want any other woman. Maybe they have low self-esteem. Maybe they want a trophy piece. Maybe they are just blinded by what the media says in beautiful. I was never a man who bought into the idea that black women were undesirable. Do any other black men in here feel this way. Also, I don't discriminate. I love from Vanessa Williams to Lauryn Hill. I think all shades are beautiful.

Good. Glad you feel that way. I also look at and admire black women everyday. But I have to disagree with your seemingly suggestion that a black man has "low self-esteem" or desires a "trophy piece" if he dates a non-black woman. I think it is an individual decision that has to be looked at by a case by case basis. The same argument could be said of black male/black female relationships. Could the reasoning be that a black man dates a particular black woman because he may see her as a "trophy" or has a "self confidence or self esteem" issue? Hard to say without knowing all the facts and dynamics of his decision. Too much hysterics, misguided notions and political axes to grind are erroneously elevated to fact when demonizing people for the personal choices they make in their lives.

I like black women, too, but I prefer the more exotic ones....Senegalese, Brazilians, Moroccans, Ethiopians, Cameroonians, Cubans, etc. Also, "others"(non-blacks)who are built like and resemble black women are cool, too. Just about anything's good except that bland whitebread crap(and whitebread can be any race).

Just wanted to acknowledge my brothers out there who can still appreciate the beauty that we Black women have. As a woman I can appreciate the beauty of women from other races without feeling that we Black women have to assimilate. I love the look of my brown skin after being in the sun as much as I like to look at my Hispanic sisters' hair flowing in the breeze. I don't think it is so much that we as Black women are hating on anyone else. I believe we want to be looked at and desired the same as women from any other race. Again, thank you to the brothers who continue to make us feel beautiful.

First of all Mmc1clay you don't have to praise women of other races to get a compliment. All you have to be is your beautiful black self. Love yourself, take care of your body(so many black women don't), and be their for us black men. Don't feel the need to form liasons with women of other races(Hispanics), they don't love you. But I do.
