I have a girlfriend who works at BLACK ISSUES BOOK REVIEW. She's very fair complexioned. She said to me, "Kola Boof must be stopped." I was like--WUH?? These people are going overboard. She says that we don't need any Africans coming over here dividing up black people and trying to put dark skinned blacks on a pedestal. I myself am lightskinned, but my mother was very dark and raised me by herself, so I identify with my mom and things I saw her go through. They assume because there are people who can think, spell, and put sentences together---that we are either White or Light-Skinned. I get that all the time on Black boards.
