I received a letter from a guy name Paul through Blacktown regarding the King Kong syndrome among black men. Here's Paul's letter:

From: "BLACKTOWN" <email@blacktown.net>
To: <undisclosed-recipient:;>
Subject: Fw: KING KONG RESPONSE IS EXCELLENT
Date: Mon, 12 Dec 2005 11:43:27 -0500

ATTENTION ALL BLACKTOWN CITIZENS AND FRIENDS:
BELOW IS A BEAUTIFUL RESPOSE AND TESTIMONY TO THE KING KONG ARTICLE THAT WE WROTE EARLIER.
WE ARE SHARING THIS WITH YOU BECAUSE OF IT'S HONESTY, REALITY, IRONY, AND HUMOR!!!

*************************************

King Kong is everywhere. From the images of anorexic
white women who look more boyish than womanly, to the
imagery of the blond archetype in eurocentric
literature and media.

I remember my mother used to lampoon my love of
science fiction with one running joke that showed up
in every creature movie I loved as a kid: "Yeah,
those monsters travelled all that way from space to
come and get a white woman." I didn't get it at the
time, but now I do: the white man thinks his little
white woman is so precious, he has the audacity to
imagine little green men coming here and violating his
women. This is despite the fact that through history,
the white explorer is the one who went about the world
and raped women with impunity.

I feel like white women have a sort of social
expectation from me: as a black man, I am to want
them but never to actually push up on them for sex. I
am to worship from afar without any hope of actually
landing one. Exceptions:
a) if she's slummin' or a-dick-ted to chocolate
b) if I'm rich/powerful/famous
c) if she's a naive liberal tree-hugger who loves me
as much as she loves other endangered species

I suspect this White-Women-Are-Special meme is behind
a lot of western feminism. They feel like they're
too special to be the back bone of a family. They
think their specialness allows them to throw away
their fertile years on a career and get mad when white
men don't want them becase they're too old to birth
children. Look at the Aruba Girl and little miss
Tiabliaj who died not out of random violence, but by
willfully exploring dangerous sexual situations.
Media screams at us to pity these young, special
American white women. Where was the pity when black
women were being raped on plantations? Why do I only
hear about missing black girls by e-mail instead of by
CNN?

While I do feel that true interracial love may exist,
I have only seen one couple where both people did not
appear to be sick. Usually, the white person is the
the type of white person who feels alienated from
other whites, either due to their own negrophilia or
due to an actual sense of shame at what they see white
people do to racial minorities. Yes, there are white
people who are tired of white people, but not nearly
enough of them to make any real change. Most of them
marry within their race because it is natural for like
to associate with like. Even in the mixed
relationships I was in, I eventually found out I was
just being used by the woman to satisfy a sexual
curiosity, or the woman wanted to end it because she
could not handle the racial pressures of being with a
black man. Woe to the black man who knocks a white
woman off her pedestal by rejecting her advances.
I've almost gotten fired twice because I turned down
white female advances.

Paul

***the white man thinks his little white woman is so precious, he has the audacity to imagine little green men coming here and violating his

Stop for a moment and ask yourself this:

could it be that white people only see themselves and not others?

..not necessarily in a bad way - just their everyday way of thinking. It's like living in a bubble which is comprised of mostly the people that you see as your peers. Sure, black people exist within this bubble, and on a conscious level, whites understand this.. but to them, and perhaps on a deeply subconscious level, blacks and other minorities don't exist. In that sense, they don't "see" the black people.

I say this because it reminds me of when I was a kid. I grew up in an all white neighborhood. When I'd stay inside my neighborhood the people around me (white people) didn't matter that much to me. Therefore, I'd dress like a complete bum: mismatched clothes, run downed sneakers, hair all over the place ect.. But when I went outside my neighborhood, like say to a cousin's house, which was always located in "the hood", I'd throw on my flyest gear -- you couldn't catch me in the hood looking "busted."

Could white people be the same way? If so, are they racist?

I know that overlooking the blacks within your "bubble" when it comes to jobs, promotions, ect., is racist.. but, is only considering your peers in other situations racist?

Back to this hong kong syndrome:

Given what I described, why do so many black men believe that white men's inability to "imagine" anyone except their "precious" white women, when harm arises, is the white man's way of being racist?

Maybe, he can only "imagine" what he "sees" within his "bubble."

Speaking in psychological terms this sounds like a form of projection (you know where one person assumes another person of possesing impulses that only the first person is guilty of possesing). Whites have been projecting their own ethical andmoral demons onto blacks and other groups.

Please. How many times have I personally been in situations where the white guy that I'm with is being shamelessly intimidated by the black guys around us. Years ago, my girlfriends and I whitnessed our white male friends being physically assaulted (brutally), after they dropped us off at my apartment.
Black men are just as possessive of "their women" when the tables are turned. And they exploit white women (for status, among other things) as white men exploit black women for sex. In the year 2005, neither group is holding a gun to any of the women's head in order to exploit them.

So in the year 2005, who's projecting on to whom.. and why is the white man a racist?

interesting..of course white people live in a bubble, this is there world...one should take care with comparisons between blacks and whites...even if the act is the same=protecting their women, it is different because one group has more power, and therefore backing (read law, political power, economics), than the other.

OJ and other socalled celebrites clearly transcend this point of mine, but they are the exception rather than the rule.

She took the ideas right off my brain.

I do believe that White Women Feminists are full of shit and are basically racists who want to use black people for their own numbers.

Alice Walker's black-based "Womanism" is much more credible, human-centered and is infinitely superior for Black women to use in their daily living and their relationships with other people.

I have been roundly attacked and dismissed by the White feminists, although I am a feminist, too---and I feel good about that.

Tonya, I hope you know very well from my previous posts that I'm not a "blame whitey" advocate. Why accuse me of that?

I confess that I'm finally starting to realize that what I call a comfort zone, others call a bubble. I equated a bubble with a balloon that can be punctured and deflated by disapopointment. Whatever. King-Kong is just an overgrown pet. Women, particularly white ones really get attached to their pets, be they dogs or cats or- monkeys. They sleep with them and subject male friends to their approval. They even run into burning buildings to rescue them and all for the gratification of unconditional love. Combine that with a secret fanstasy to be raped by a dark mysterious stranger of gigantic proportions and voila! King Kong. LMAO.

Don't let 'em fool you, Steph.

Black men are FULLY aware of "The King Kong Syndrome: the 'conspiracy' to have everyone worship white women."

The problem they have with this "conspiracy" has nothing to do with the 'worshiping white women' part.. (a phenom that concerns black women the most; and one that black men don't give a damn about -- make no mistake)....

Their problem with the socalled king kong syndrome cuts two ways: it renders them powerless in their relationships with white women by giving the status to the white woman, the one whose value skyrockets each time king kong makes his appearance. In other words, she's the one whose being sought-after, thus giving her the status in a relationship in which black men, white women, and non-black women are *equal* minorities.

(Pay attention: black women are NOT a part of this NEW set of minorities).

"King Kong" cuts also by making it harder for them to gain access to white women (whom they see as a commodity - along with everyone else - one which they seek to exploit) by making the "price tag" to obtain a white woman more than the average black man can afford.

So this "King Kong Syndrome" ain't got shit do do with us, Sistah. They're not "schooling" black men on how not to give in to the allure of the overvalued white women.. uh-uh. This trategy was crafted soley for their own accommodations. They're using the struggles, plight, and pain of the underdog.. the underclass.. (read:black woman).. to shamelessly foster and attain their own greedy, backstabbing, two-timing agenda --

don't be fooled --

They ain't about shit.

The "King Kong" syndrome actually is a classic example of the white mans' fear of genetic annihilation. Let me break it down for whoever wants to listen. By genetic annihilation I mean the inability to produce more offspring that looks like him. The majority of the world's people are of color. All except the caucasian man and woman. For centuries the white male has put his woman as the standard of beauty for the world (while he himself has raped every race of woman on every continent-but that is beside the point). Now what the movie King Kong actually does is PROJECT the belief that the black man (most color, therefore biggest threat) is obsessed with capturing a white woman. When actually it is the white MAN who is obsessed with the thought that his woman wants the black man. Now you say what is the problem with this? The problem is that when the white man's precious woman lays down and has a baby with that black man (portrayed as King Kong 'the big black d**k'-psychologically projecting that black men are good for nothing except procreation)what color is the baby? 9 times out of 10-not white. Remember it takes 2 white people to make a white baby. Any other race added to the equation will mess things up. Take that fact along with the fact that white woman are more likely to have problems conceiving than any other race plus the fact that white men have more erectile dysfunction and low sperm counts than men of any other race. 'Elite' whites know that they are being outnumbered on the daily by the people of color in the world. So what is the solution? The movie tells you. They killed King Kong, with what-- a gun, same weapon they use to kill ALL men of color worldwide.
