Since its Christmas, I thought I'd show some Seasonal goodwill - and come clean.
I have some harsh truths to tell you.
First - I am not actually Nigerian. Second, I am not actually black. However, I did live in Owerri, Nigeria for five years and I was married to an Igbo for 7 years. I also speak rudimentary Igbo and have many black friends.
My real name is Camille and I'm a History teacher. I have lived in Nigeria, Ghana, Botswana and England but I was born and currently live in New York. I am fascinated by all things African. Sorry for the deception but it was hard to come clean since you all so readily accepted that I was black and Nigerian and the deception built from there. Here is my pic
