Sexy actress MEAGAN GOOD wants to play late R+B singer and actress AALIYAH in a movie about her rise to fame.

The 24-year-old beauty, who stars alongside rapper BOW WOW in his new movie ROLL BOUNCE, has great admiration for Aaliyah, who perished in a 2001 plane crash in the Bahamas after filming the video to her hit track ROCK THE BOAT.

Good says, "I would love to play Aaliyah. For all the things that black women go through in this industry, telling her story would be incredible.

"When a movie is made about the things young women go through, the studios automatically look for a KIRSTEN DUNST or NAOMI WATTS. It's not until late in the process that they think, 'Maybe it can be a black girl.'

"I think Aaliyah opened up a lot of doors with ROMEO MUST DIE and QUEEN OF THE DAMNED, because both of those characters weren't intended for a black actress."

bb123 you gave your stankin ass those stars you got, second, she is what you will never amount to in a million lifetimes. 3rd. this is EXACTLY why black women can't get along, when one does well here comes the envious bitches. you don't go platinum without being talented, are you a lesbian? how the hell do you rate? i'm willing to bet if you took that pepsi challenge you'd come up very very very short with your photo posted up next to hers. it's amazing how some people have the hugest balls when they talk shit about someone who isn't around to defend themself. what you ought to be writing is praise for other black women who have made some accomplishments, she was a class act, and had alot going for herself. she didn't fit that bullshit stereotype that you see half of these other black female entertainers fall into ... think about what you write, and as i stated before show respect where it is due. (and quit being a god damn hater)

You're just reacting that way cause you said Aaliyah looks like you ex girlfriend. Shut the hell up. If it were any other Black women getting contructive criticism you wouldn't even mutter a word.

Doberman, and you will never amount up to some rich, black billionaire exec of some company who looks like a young Denzel Washington you dumb bastard. What the fuck do you look like, do you have a body like LL? The same shit you throwing at me can apply to your Canton suburban fagboner ass.

Just because I don't worship Aaliyah like you do doesn't make me a hater. I take her for what she was--a mediocre singer, who had songs with hot beats produced by Missy and Timbaland. I own every album by her and the only songs that stood out were the ones that were produced by Timbaland and released as singles. The rest of her shit was boring and rightly deserved to be unreleased. A lot of people think that she was nothing but a bunch of hype, down to her acting abilities & even dancing skills. Hell, I even heard her ass live when I was a kid--back when R Kelly was boning her, and she is nothing but a studio creation, her voice was so deep and weak. She sounds nothing the way she does on track. After that, she rarely sung live; all she did was sing over a recorded track & dance like Britney Spears who is/was another multiplatinum selling artist who can't sing for shit and was just smoke and mirrors but still sold records like crazy.

BB123,

For the reasons you cite and her refusal to cop to her illegally MARRYING everyone's favorite hip-hop pedophile R Kelly, I never really thought much of Aaliyah.

I don't worship anybody you little trick, I happen to know someone really close to her and he told me back in 98, that as soon as soon as she started to blow up, people from Detroit where the biggest assholes when it came to her. If it wasn't them talking about R.Kelly, then it was she was stuck up, she couldn't sing, she had acne, she was fake, and so on and so forth. She could just about anywhere else in america or the world for that matter and was given props but of all places detroit. it's weak to downsize her accomplishments, having an opinion is one thing but you're being a bitch bout it.

now .. onto denzel, ll cool j, show me once where i dissed them, go through any of my post and show me where i down any black people who are casted in a positive light. i don't do that, not because i think that they are perfect, but i don't do that because there are too many black people in the lime light who are full of negativity ... 50 cents is built up like L.L. Cool J would i talk shit about him, yep, because he's full of negativity, if the average young black male takes to heart what 50 yaps about and can't realize that it's entertainment, then that's another black male in jail.

Now onto my city, Canton isn't the most diverse city in Michigan by no means, but it is safe, it is clean, and the people around the community actually care. I could go on and on all day bringing up the detroit ills, but i won't just watch channel 2,4, and 7 and i'll let them do the talking. So you go ahead and mill on that for a minute, and try not to be a statistic while you're at it :-)

"I don't worship anybody you little trick, I happen to know someone really close to her and he told me back in 98, that as soon as soon as she started to blow up, people from Detroit where the biggest assholes when it came to her. "

It appeared that way mainly because nobody really knew Aaliyah pre-98 but Detroiters because she was from her (or around here). So of course, she got the most criticism from us. But this type of behavior is not just exclusive to Detroit.

And most of the dislike for Aaliyah was because of her inappropriate association with R. Kelly--being his underage slampiece. Once she distanced herself from him, and started to make better music people started to take her seriously and appreciate her as an entertainer.

Like everywhere else, people started to like her more once she hooked up with Missy & Timbaland. That's when her music (singles) started to crossover. Being that I attended and graduated from a Detroit Public School & have other friends that have as well, you'd be pleasantly surprised to see how her face is ALL OVER almost every Detroit yearbook in '02 because of her death and huge fanbase she has in Detroit.

Makes no sense for a nice city to have assholes like you living in it:-)

BB123,

I don't know if this has been widely disseminated. But in certain parts of the local Chicago Art & Entertainment circles it's been rumored that R Kelly was also boning Aaliyah and her MOM.

You may insert your favorite gag reference here...

Is it true that Aaliyah (may she rest in peace) was (at one time) pregnant for R. Kelly?

first of all, shame on anyone for talking bad about aaliyah.

second, r. kelly is not a pedophile.

people really need to learn the definition of a word, before trying to use it.

aaliyah was talented and BEAUTIFUL.

SHAME ON ANYONE FOR TALKING BAD ABOUT HER.

jealous fools.
