To Tonya, Shemika and all the other black sisters on this board who know what time it is: ladies, you know who you are! First of all I wanted to thank and congratulate you for staying strong and for not letting the actions of *some* black males ruin your beautiful spirits. I also wanted to say that it seems to me that you are wasting your precious energy by replying to the inane self-hating crap that the likes of Nt-fucks-mans-ass, Abm, Li_ze and co post on this board. They have resorted to denigrating Africa and African now. They do not seem to recognize even the fact that their ancestors are African. I suggest that we ignore this idiots and don't even bother to read their ridiculous, self-hating words anymore. Think about it: I started a thread about how the black teenage girls I mentor feel sad that black men disrespect them. What response did I get from Ntfs and co: they started saying yet more negative things about black girls and black women. Enough, I say! Fuck them! But yeah, their kind of negativity makes absolutely no sense…especially for a board that is SUPPOSED to be devoted to serious issues, including some of our most sensitive ones. So yeah, done! I can go back to ignoring them. They’re not why I come here anyway. |

I have took some time reading past posts on this forum and I can say that Kola has made some good points on some things and she is a marvelous poet and writer. SHe's also said things that are insulting, degrading and down right crazy too.
This Igbo girl on the other hand is nuts. Her tirades have no rhyme or reason to them other than just to hurl insults and get shit started. It's quite tiring and honestly I can see how it'll start an eye to twitching.

With all respect, even if loads of black women ARE lesbians (but show me the statistics) I don't think AIDs is often spread through lesbian action.
Two of my male friend lost their black wives to lesbianism. One of the dudes was white and found his wife in bed with another black woman when he got home from work. The other one is a black man who is now paranoid that his girlfriend will turn out to be lesbians |

Your reading the various posts is not the same as writing and exchanging barbs or accolades. After being here for a while, you will learn the various personalities, styles and nuances of the forums posters. YOU ARE NOT THERE YET!
That being said, let me address your “….say the shit they say unchecked” comment. If you have issues with Lil_ze or Schakspir, take it to them. Their posts are their posts –not mine! And if you have a specific beef with me, good. Point out specifically what you disagree with and we will go from there. And just a suggestion, when you do, don’t reduce your argument to a stream of profanity, the “n” word and name calling. That is the very thing that got Igbogirl publicly cained and beat down.

What shit? What shit are you specifically referring to? Not Lil_ze or Schakspir, but me? Are you referring to my disdain for senseless carping and diatribes about people who have skin that happens to be lighter than another black persons? Computers are a big part of my generation. All over my college campus there's a computer with the internet, all in the dorm rooms, in every class I have, at the library that's open 24-7, & at work. Then you have laptops. All the college kids communicate with each other through email, Myspace, and Facebook. It doesn't take away from a person's life to read a few threads, post some comments and move on to the next.
As for Kola, I won't even get on that topic with you. Cause for the longest you kept falsely accusing me of being her, now you have to lie and say I parrot her words which is also untrue.

Tonya, first find the post number by hovering your mouse over the next or previous arrows (the 2 in the middle) to the left of the post to determine the post number that you want to reference.
Then, when you copy & paste the url, add #POST??? to the end of it with no spaces. |

Tonya, the simpler way to do it is to:
-right-click the little yellow looking paper/tab to the right of the blue arrows
-choose "copy link location"
-paste it into your post
